AUDIOTISTIC!! October 18
Saturday October 18-AUDIOTISTIC returns for it's seventh year. This year Audiotistic is proud to present NAS!! The event will also feature THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS, Blackalicious, and a VERY SPECIAL REUNION featuring DJ Qbert who will be performing along side a DJ/Producer....much,much more to be announced. stay tuned...

i heard channel 36 sold the audiotistic name to power106, and that's why it's more hiphop based and full-on mainstream...they offer free tick givaways on the station, etc.
iunno, jezz what i heard.
my decision whether to go or not is gonna be based strictly on lineup and location...not on its name or its promoters...lets hope it works for me |

Channel 36, didn't sell to anybody...we just stopped using that name because we've grown and it's tired to us now. Our work is continually evolving as well.Can't we grow?

We help push the skratch scene to a global level, where was the first place you saw Craze in Los Angeles? What event do you always know you are going to see Qbert? Who brought you the farewell Invisibl Skratch Piklz show in LA (Nation 2000!) with DEL?
There's always some guy hating, but it doesn't change the truth, and the truth is that Audiotistic (it's creators) consistantly improves, not to mention that we've brought the public so many talented hip-hop acts first, which goes to show that there is a high level of musicality behind this event.
And Ambrosia, I'm with you...the event's lineup and location, AND ticket price should be the deciding factor. So many copie our look and our style, and charge you the same money or more, for a line-up that doesn't come close. If you "don't like audiotistic," cool...but don't be a lamer and get up on the boards whinning, "dude remember, remember," We all remember that everyone has had meesed up stuff happen to their event(ever hear of Altamont or Bill Graham?), the mark of quality is diplayed by those who recover, rebound, and consistantly break NEW ground; of course, some guys just suck-everytime, and charge mad crazy money for weak sound, weak acts, and bulls**t production, but there's no reason for to speak on this, because I don't know what it's like to be them.
