For sure, catch Bukem, but don't sleep on Stateside atmospheric. He only comes around twice a year. If the movement is going to grow, it needs more support.
It speaks volumes that not only are they releasing their own material on North American labels, but also getting signed by GLO. Bukem is great, but if he is the end all of atmospheric drum & bass, then we would all have a myopic view of the genre. |
