BLUEBEAT CANCELLED & MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION
For Immediate Release:
Tuesday March 23 2004
Los Angeles, Ca- United Drum & Bass has announced this morning that there art and music fusion show on Saturday March 27th is cancelled. "We found out last week that there was poor communication between the agencies handling London Elektricity's tour." Stated Danny J.
He went on to say that United has exausted all of there resources in several attempts to rectify the situation. Danny explained "It has been out of our control from the start but we have been on the phones day and night trying to make this happen, we signed a contract with the agent and in good faith assumed everything was in order."
With Homeland Security in place in the United States, it has become extremely difficult to obtain a work visa, you must be an upstanding citizen and be sponsored by a US based corporation.
"Somehow things got screwed up between the artist and the agency and nothing was ever signed so the visa never went through. It only came to our attention a week and a half before the event. We are holding the agency liable for this."
United has expressed that everything on thier end was handled professionaly and through the proper channels.
"It has been a trail of unfortunate circumstances with this event and we have decided that cancelling the event and looking forward to our next one is best."
All presaled for this event will be refunded through Grooovetickets.com.

You guys had a great idea and vibe going, obviously you're trying to push the DnB movement forward so dropping out probably was the best option at this point.

Danny, I know you worked to make this event happen. I think the cancelation was for the best. The next installment is going to be huge.
