the venue was ghetto the jungle room could only fit seriously 25-30 people it was so small and very hot dylan didnt play he went to the orion and spun on the main stage |

Yeah, I was thinking that myself and hoping the best of the luck for the other party that night. SERIOUSLY.
I kinda guessed more people would show up for BASSRUSH, but didn't think it didn't end up with people not liking the venue or dylan not playing.
That really sucks. I feel sorry. SERIOUSLY .

Not that I throw parties or know any better. But, maybe it wasn't entirely the promotor's/promotors' fault that the party went kinda s**tty.
Maybe, they didn't intend to have the dnb located in some small room. I dunno. - shrugs -
I've been to Qtopia once or twice where dnb wasn't in the main room. Oh wait, not a good comparison. Because @ rooms weren't tiny or anything.

if you don't think these parties are set up to spend the LEAST amount of money on production, and to get the MOST people they can with false promises and mostly bogus lineups then you are just not really thinking

well I can't fault you making a change and being more open minded....
but all indications here, from the flier to the lineup to the location say fraud....
but there are definitely promoters out there that you can put your faith....
Almost Famous is the only one I can speak for, we won't let you down because we bust our ass just to break even and make sure the crowd has a good time....

there was just too many parties on this date IMO to sustain the SoCal scene. From Elevate to Bassrush to Soul Slinger in SD to 2 hip hop events (one of which ROCHELLA drawing like 1,000+ people) i thought and felt one party would loose out . . . either way i wish i could've seen KAOS on the decks . . . . |

If the party's being thrown by a no-name or there's no name attached to the party at all, it's good to think twice about going and stick with the crews you can trust. Only 'rave' parties I'd pay more than $10 for are ones like Monster Massive, EDC, or TAO. Most other places just wanna rip you off. Good to invest money in a worthwhile cause - the advancement of the d&b party scene within massives instead of putting money in the pockets of superstar trance dj's. cuz a lot of these 'crews' never pay the junglists |

when i got to bassrush i was thinking the area roped off for the bar was taking up too much of the room and it was going to turn into a sardine can. evidently, it did not fill up that much though :/ surprising it was only what 25 at the door? |

intensity, sorry to be the bearer of bad news...but i think your word-choice might be confusing the message you're trying to send. stick to more simple words and your point will come accross better. did you mean "emphasize" or maybe "explain"...
anyway, yes...there was an obviously low crowd volume at Bassrush and a whole lotta events going on at the same time. i had a great time at Bassrush.

Nah, don't worry. I am used to hearing bad news a lot throughout the day.
Yes, maybe, I did sound like I was mocking a little. But, for the record, I had sincere intent.
I knew I should have looked @ the dictionary before I decided which of the words to use. I was gonna use explain , but I thought emphasize sounded little more snazzier. But, gods know why would I try to sound snazzy? I figured emphasize means almost the same thing as explain.
But, I am sure another person will be happy to tell me the difference between the two.
And, again, I AM NOT TRYING TO MOCK.

And, on the note, I guess, I was more stoned than I felt or thought I was because it seemed like the party was crowded. But, than I just totally realized that we didn't have much of an hassle to get in coming around 11ish. Not to mention there wasn't much people out in the smoking area and used to be almost no free benches to sit on.
So, sorry, about trying to inquire about what you meant. I can sorta understand where that would have come from.
