ive seen him twice. the first time was a little ..umm... how should i put this...... silly. he played lots of his "semi-newer" jump up (like cool flight and woman that rolls type of stuff) so i was like. eh.. this is cool but not really. it was fun for a minute but the same bassline over and over.
THEN. the 2nd time i saw him, he played mad ragga and older jump up and some new cuts he had. THAT WAS FUCKING DOPE.
i heard aphro got a new sound, well not that older stuff, and is comin out heavier. a definite must-go-to event. look at the rest of the lineup....

Ive seen Aphrodite spin a few times.. I havent missed an event where he would be spinning in a long time.. he has mad new tunes..old skool jump up to the new skool flaver.. everytime I see him ..its non stop moving.. mos def excited !..can't wait! |

HELL YA .. cant wait.. Aphrodite was one of the first DnB Djs/Producers i had ever heard. totally got me into the music.. and i have yet to see him in the 5 years i have been in the scene..

aww yeah. I saw him live at Mardi Gras at a party called Zulu 2000. Teeny tiny room. He went on after J Majik and Adam F (with MC MC in tow). He killed it. I really didn't think I'd have energy to dance after the previous set, but I did somehow, thanks to Aphrodite.
Damn, Q-topia again, huh? I wish he was playing a little club. We'll see if I make it out for this one, but I'm sure it will be worth it if I do. |
