2006 is nearly over, what were your favourite artists/parties/songs ect that made it a memorable year???

Artists For me:
Cyantific, Logistics, Calibre, Marcus Intalex, Alix Perez, Mutt, Beecee, Kubix, Lomax, Mathematics, Submorphics, TC1 and Stress Level, just to name a few.
Best set to me was the Kubix and Lomax liquid soul mix and the alix perez 1xtra mix show.
Best party was hospitality at heaven on my bday!
Best party in LA is a tough one! Between muse, respect and funtkion there were alot of good nights.

this year has seen so MUCH dope liquid!!!!!!!
fave producers this year: kubiks, lomax, stunna, alix perez, logistics, sabre, mingus, cls and wax, ste. luce, calibre.... so many!!!
and i loved all the liquid shows in socal this year. my favorites were opening for calibre at respect, for nu:tone b2b logistics at funktion, and for kubiks and lomax at muse. plus all the people that came thru liquid (sd) and held it down like stunna, amaning, tko, tc1, drifter, martyn, all the locals!!!!
fantastic year!!!! and since i've decided to dive into production 2007 really does look promising  |

stunna logistics nutone total science mutt neptune fracture cls and wax batchlers of science kubix & lomax atlantic connection. i really liked nutones things that lovers do, and batchlers of science and brooklyn memories. total science and mc conrads soul patrol. |

I love this music, but I hardly go to any events, I never know when something is going on, suddenly on myspace I see a flyer that says makoto, cyantific, logistics and I'm like this time I'm going, then I read the date and they are already old events.
My resolution for this year is to start going out to check events w/ this kind of music.
where is the best place to find out when and where?
I'm in sd by the way, but if I like the artist I will do my best to check it out in LA.

In my book:
Alix Perez for best newcomer of 2006 with an honorable mention for Random Movement, Calibre for best overall liquid producer with Commix coming in a close second. Best radio show goes to Fabio (duh) with Bailey following directly behind.
As a SoCal n00b, the best liquid show I saw was London Elektricity at Funktion followed by LTJ Bukem in October.
Best mix is a toss-up between Alix Perez on the 1Xtra M1X Show and Liquid V Club Sessions Volume 2 mixed by Artificial Intelligence.
Labels: Horizons, Progress, Soul:R, Signature, Liquid V, Hospital, Lucky Devil, Shogun Audio / SGN:LTD, and Emcee.
As for 2007, I'm eagerly awaiting the supposed re-launch of Good Looking... |

lol i would hardly call commix liquid, but just simply the best producers in the scene
2006 was all about aliz perez, redeyes, calibre and mutt for liquid
best mixes are from the same night actually on 1xtra, A.I. and alix perez right after

just picked up a bunch of tunes!!!
got stuff by bungle, chino and submorphics, kubiks and lomax, matt u, nu:tone, high contrast...
and OH MY GOD the new s**t kubiks is making!!!!!! just incredible. and all of the new lomax s**t is FIRE!!! both of them are on top of their game |
