so i been outta socal a few years

lived in nor cal, home of the worst dnb scene on the planet (next to maybe say...iraq). just moved back to LA area and notice theres not a whole lot of liquid funk or atmospheric stuff being played anymore, all dubstep and ragga (no surprise). what are we to do about this? liquid/atmospheric djs unite, lets get something workin here.

seriously. tons of cats play it out here, may not be on every bill but i'd say you can at least get a few decent liquid shows (at the very least) a month. just keep on the board.

oh and NOTHING wrong with dubstep or a lil ragga. everything is good in moderation. variety is the spice of life no?

absolutely nothing wrong, i was hoping LA may have progressed beyond that being the majority. not exactly my cup of tea but i far from hate it. is there any kind of liquid nights in so cal? i realy dont know who to talk to or how to get a night started at a venue but i'd love to help the cause.

Liquid, at the Red C lounge in San Diego. Deep in SD as well, but they're closing up shop.

There is a new bi-weekly starting up in Lake Elsinore in July.Threy're still booking talent. The promoter hagard is cool people so check the JS board. I think the title is NEW DNB I.E. ___(((( bring it ))))
