I'm getting a new souncard soon
I'm torn between the Echo Layla, and the Mona, I can't decide...

go with an m-audio Delta 1010. less NOISE, no money, and if you have an ADAT and need the optical just get a C02 and you'll still spend less $$$ than any of the echo s**t.
If you want you can compare the two yourself and hear the difference.
