whats the deal with this...

I played with it at guitar center on Ventura and was not too impressed...
the blue pitch bend modwheel made me go "cool?" but the price tag... hrmmm |

haven't got to mess with it yet... I like the moog sound and all... but it's a little played in my opinion... I mean, it's still usable but not as the centerpeice to any music i might make... and $3500 is definetly center peice price range...
does it have external inputs for those signature filters? are they any better than a moogerfooger?
seems like this was an attempt to cash in on the clasicness of the peice... but it's probablly about three years too late, VA's have gotten too good, and with the Andromeda out and CHEAPER... it would take a real nostalgic rich guy to buy this thing... njot a good market to shoot for hehe...

i never liked that andrometer or what ever it was...
i dunno anyting about the moog piece...
i like the filters on my waldof Q the best so far... they are SMOTH no resolution points...
if im gonna spend 3500 on a synth.. its going to take up my wall and have 100 patch cables  |

The Voyager is nice and alll but all you are paying for is the moog name.
for the equivalent price I would get a moog system 1 or system 2. |

yeah its got an input for that filtersection, which, if its cc savvy, sounds pretty valuable to me!
also, the 3.5k is just for the limited edition signature series - theyre dropping by about 1k for the standard issue coming soon ( this spring? ) |
