Korg MS2000
Anyone have one? Use one?
How is it? It's a tempting buy at that price, i just want to get a few opinions first... |

Re: Korg MS2000
i have a friend that has one. I have messed with it a little here and there. Its a nice synth, but it seems a little thin to me at times. It would sound way better through a nice tube pre amp. All in all as a synth, though, its a good one if you can get it for a good price. |

Re: Korg MS2000
if you can deal w/ the polyphony and the lack of MULTI-multitimbrality(2), then its great.
i like the audio in feature to process external sources. everyone squeals about the mod sequencer, but i never use it. make sure you demo ALL the sounds so when you get home you aren't looking for those extra sound banks that are not there. |

Re: Korg MS2000
yeah, it's alright. I had one for a year before upgrading. don't count on it to be your main synth though, or else you'll be doing a lot of track bouncing. I loved the mod sequencer on it. The sound isn't bad, everything is nice and midiable, I liked it. |

Re: Korg MS2000
I actually own one. At first I bought it to learn MIDI. I used is strictly as a controller. now that i have time to play.... Im in love!! I use it with the Virus. together they sound amaizing!! It does sound shallow if you just listen to the stock banks, but like any board... tweek tweek tweek....
Its pretty FAT...
Its no Nord or waldof, but its very nice for the price!!!
The only negative...
the polyphony and its only 2 part multitimbrality----- The power supply bugs the hell out of me...
