Ragga club?
So what's up with an all Ragga/Raggae club? There isn't one, is there? If there were one to come about, would anyone go? What if it was up&coming talent???? Any suggestions????

Yes, please.
Dub and Reggae in "chill room," Ragga/Jump Up business in the "main." Decent sound is essential, lights are not. Guiness and Red Stripe are fundamental, smoking a plus.
Plenty of DJs in town can throw it down, maybe think about occassional guests. |

we know of no such thing. such a place would be quite wonderful. especially if you could get one those ethiopian restaurants on fairfax to go along with it. jvc through a party in a joint down there...

Southern Cross is a ragga club. good beer at cheap prices (newcastle draft 20oz = $4), 8k watt sound system, $5, downtempo/reggae/hip hop in the smoking room, CRS? was there for the opening night, APX1 was there last night and R.A.W. will be there on the 29th. we run every other wednesday. for info see www.drumadik.com.
