Rudegirl, thanks for reminding me to put this info out there. I heard Sean Paul being interviewed on 103.1 this past week. He has a DOPE song that the U.S. record company would NOT put on -- where he said he's speaking to world leaders basically saying if we're the most intelligent beings on this planet, why aren't we clever enough to figure out a way to live together. Since the record company wouldn't put it out there, he cut a deal with Target stores (that's right, Target). If you buy his CD there, you get an extra disc with a single of that song! They played the cut on the radio and it was really good.
I need to get my ass to Target and pick it up. |

thats cool & he has done something for his scene,but ive just seen alot of watered down mtv stuff that hes done...not too impressive.ive herd remixes that people have done w/ his songs i liked alot.i dunno,;;;;;;;; |

You not familiar with Sean Paul or something?
He has been around for a very long time - way before MTV ever played one of his videos... Classic dancehall anthem steez. (Infiltrate, Deport dem, etc.)
He is way tight. His stuff is more mainstream than it was before - but still a lot of dope material.

maybe its just that i havent been exposed to his pre mtv work that i know of....i do keep a open mind though..if u have any older stuff of his that u could e mail me id be down to check it out! or any older records i should peep?? |
