Prime Mover is drum and bass resident for the legendary DMC organization. This is the alias of UK native Dave Cridge and American dj Tasha. Teaming up with Chuck B. the trio now knock out tune after tune of soundclash style dnb.
Dave Cridge got his start djing regulary with the likes of Roni Size,dj Die, Jody(Way out West), and has been recording as a member of "Up Bustle and Out"(Best known for their Ninja Tune releases) for some years now. Tasha got his start having 12" releases as the first American on long time Bristol, UK label Tribe Recordings. At the same time Chuck B. was promoting for Thrive records and was a staple dj in the Virginia Scene. As a pillar with the VA branch of Konkrete Jungle, the stage was set to take things to the next level pushing production more and more.
Combined the multi-national force called Prime Mover & Chuck B. has had a plethora of remixes and original releases on labels like Tommy Boy, Studio !K7, Ninja Tune, all the way across the spectrum to UK dnb labels like Tribe, Playside, Bootshake, Bass Rejects, and finally American dnb labels Hum Fi Drum, Rid'em, Ghetto Life and Pound recordings.
On the dj tip Prime Mover has joined the well respected DMC organization(best known for their Mixmag publication, mix cd series, and the world scratch championships) as resident dnb djs for DMC clubnights and the upcoming DMC dnb world tour. Prime Mover & Chuck B. claim residency with the legendary weekly drum and bass party.. Konkrete Jungle (VA).
