ragga SOULJAHS help further the movement -- LOOK INSIDE!!
Well my bredren and sistren, I am thinking about making a directory that includes FIVE categories.
1. Promoters [state, email, number]
2. Dubplate cutters [I KNOW that there are more than just three...any information so that one can possibly go to a place in their area. Where do the house/prog/reggae people get their dubs cut? Along with feedback if you have ever cut at any of these places so I can give an appropriate rating].
3. Vinyl Distributors [although some of us have the time to do it on our own, which is commendable, many of us do not...again any information for a rating would be useful if you have used this before...]
4. Hassle Free Plant Presses [ones that do not make you sign a "piracy" contract]. If there was any problems with the pressing or if it was exceptional let me know prices and such so that can be included as well.
5. DJS? (tentative)...there are way more DJ's out there that are willing to travel...other than the ones that were together enough to get releases out. So give me your website and places where promoters can download mixes and music. A DJ should not be punished because they do not like to post on message boards.
If you fall into any one of these 5 categories or know of any good number 2's 3's or number 4's. Then post them up...so that it can be readily accessible to all the souljah's out there.
After I am finished doing write-ups and binding directories then they will be readily available for anyone who wants them.

wow...there has been mad response...
for all you DJS that are still in the process of answering I have decided to give myself more work and use symbols to give the "shopper" a better idea about what kind of skills you have to offer.
P - I fyou have more than 10 dubplates
R - If you have a release
T - If you are turntabilist
MC - If you have an MC that is part of your crew, ready to brave the urban jungle with you.
Thanks for making my job easier adn well your job easier as well in the long run.
