i dont understand it...the hip hop show that is.
i dont understand how ppl get down at hip hop shows. like id say for every 4 shows i see thats hip hop only 1 out of that 4 can i understand wtf the mc's are saying. the lyrics just sound muffled and grabled. and the music is louder than the mc. bleh. |

i remember the old root down parties a few years ago with like ugly duckling and rob-one, or the shape-shifters. that s**t was off the hook. it's like that now to, look at the clubs poppping up, like rock the bells, konkrete jungle. support the good stuff, it's out there. |

you need to understand hip hop its like all back to basic nowadays real people lovin hip hop but some shows are wack its not about who the big main act is its about who the new cats are like : the overfiends ,jupiter sciples,dulok shaman,bizzart,existereo,and so on its all about taking a chance at a show to see who the next big thing is take your time and listen cuz alot of heads are blowing up on these guys and crews...im out....oh by the way if its sounds s**tty tell the sound guy... |

Ch, then locate the huddle or cyphen in the back and stick your ear in it if you wanna hear some good beats and rhymes. It aint always about the f**ker on the mic. The show is just what brings tons of heads together. The real talent is undiscovered and either by choice or chance will remain that way.

When I saw The Typical Cats @ Knitting Factory- You would have appreciated the Lyrical Clarity as projected over the Mic, Sometimes its in the group you see,,or maybe it could be the venue upon which you went to, All I am saying is its all in your taste of what you like listening to, Hip Hop is diverse and has alot to offer, its all on your discretion, but most performances I can agree with you Raun- have been full of distortion and lacked clarity upon delivery

dont trip global, orko, smog and others are all pushin 2004 the shows will be hype again. i think the last dope show i have seen was the benefit for PEACE of freestyle fellowship after his accident and that was over 3 years ago and hopefully phoenix will do a show soon if you havent seen a galactic space opera you will enjoy it |
