Re: best dnb tunes to introduce to hip hop producers
Definitely some older Full cycle stuff. For sure the remixes out there that they have of old Wu tracks, like Gza's shadowboxin, and more stuff like pharcyde remixes, there's some dope stuff out there. |

Re: best dnb tunes to introduce to hip hop producers
for an introduction to the current sounds try that Adam F remix album or the last Reprazent album. This is just to eaze em in. If they are on the sampled hip hop tip, DEFINITELY hit em up with the Droppin Science catalog.
this mix i did could be a decent starting point. It has both hip-hop and dnb tunes...

Re: best dnb tunes to introduce to hip hop producers
prolly want to show em a mix that goes back and forth from hip-hop to DnB like:
Ming+FS "Music to listen to" would be a good mix.
orrr...
On Point "a continuous Drum-n-Bass mox Vol. 1" (which don't have any hip-hop in it but has a very hip hop feel to it.) |

Re: best dnb tunes to introduce to hip hop producers
Also definitely some Progression Sessions from GLO, any of them, a lot of my homies who aren't into dnb loved the PS's. Word some Adam F and Ming + FS also. |
