The PURPLE ALBUM (prince meets jay-z)
has anyone heard it? i think the GREY album is better, but there are some good cuts, it is hard to flip Prince beats IMO because they only work at the tempo's in which they were created.
Look out cause my friend "U-SO" is coming with a GAYE ALBUM, where it is the Jay-Z remixes over Marvin Gaye samples and tunes (and yeah he gave me permission to let the cat out the bag, though i think on predoninately hip hop sites itz already been out) . . . . . |

yea i herd a few somngs off tha album... i dont care for it to much .... i luv prince and how he is and his music.,... but i luv remixes of somgs and covers cuz i think its fun but this one diddent werk for mE! |

it never will. Jay-Z was smart to put all of his acapellas out on vinyl and challenge DJs/Producers/People to remix his album, it keeps his name alive in a finiky pop market . . . . very smart marketing ploy that has turned out some pretty interesting remixes
