Yeah i was kinda dissapointed when LD told me there wasnt another room. Watched him do modern organic then dip out when i thought he was hosting a full dubstep stage like they promoted. The bar was a bitch an a half to get a drink and it wasnt packed.... i didnt mind the hip hop artists, i mean they were good, or maybe it was just destrukt i was feelin. Anyways i just hate when things are falsely promoted especially for headys that drive an hour an half to say whaddup. gonna have to bump question6 on this. |

freals..it was bunk bizzness...my boy drove all teh way back to o.c to get his I.D... then the djs who we came to see weren't even there and refused to spin...can't hate...wack promotion...atleast i got to chill w./ Himself outside n gave him props... |

Just to clear things up, fellaz...
I definitely do agree the show was very disorganized. This was not my show, I had only been helping the promoter (a friend) to promote and hook it up with some dubstep djs.
Time slots were never thought through efficiently from what I can see, which led the talent I had brought forth to cut there sets. Kelly D was told to only spin for 20 mins (which he did) and I did emcee over his set doing what I could to hype it up. After that it was all hip hop acts which forced Ricky Def to cancel his set, per the promoters request. Taylor Smith and I did our hiphop set and had a great time, but since I was infomed there would not be anymore dubstep and just hiphop acts, we felt we had the right to leave when we did.
As far as the 2nd room goes, it was initially supposed to be set up by a friend of the promoters with sound - well he never showed up and thats why it never went down that way.
All though this was not my show, I would still like to apologize to whomever showed up and didnt have a good time. It was definitely a disappointment, but hey, s**t happens. I believe next time this promoter will have a bigger, better venue and is ready to provide something organized and quality to the table.
