ROB ONE R.I.P. he was one of the best hip hop mixtape dj's around cuz his selection was always dope... so sad the way he passed with the cancer and all, i remember the fundraisers  he was another victim of no health insurance I beleive. |

R.I.P. Rob One - many a crate diggin' session with him @ Aron's Records and other vinyl shops around L.A. (back in da day) knew him a long time and he'd hook me up with tapes but need 'em again
-I'm totally on a find-old-tapes kick right now - so glad you reminded me to look for Rob tapes - they were always full of dope combos and timeless rarities (and detailed tracklists)
PS he was playing @ SCIENCE and was wearing an original Shape Shifters T-shirt-told him I need to get one of those and he offered to trade me for what I was wearing - I went for it - still got the shirt and don't regret the trade for a second |

So did all these benefits get enough money raised for a grave marker for Rob? I've moved from LA 3 yrs ago but as of the last time when I went to say good bye to him at Hollywood Forever there was still no marker. Where did all that money go? His stuff alone was worth enough money to get him a proper marker. |

COPY & PASTE LINKS into browser -- you need to make sure you have the link exactly right - no weird characters in the http address - (trick: sometimes you have to paste into a text file then re-copy again, then paste into browser)
