de ja vu
must be de ja vu,
again.
getting flashbacks of you
back when
our love was freshly new,
and then
it avalanched into
it’s end.
this story
happened more then twice.
we tried it naughty
tried it nice,
we piled on
the sugar spice . .
we took our chance,
we rolled the dice,
and now you see us
pay the price.
misplaced cliche
embraced our nights.
our habits seem to
win our fights,
while we just sit there shocked
and gaping
plotting route
for quick escaping,
parachutes and
penny scraping.
but nothing sacred
needs forsaking.
hence the rough
decision making.
times are tough,
s**t leaves you shaking.
its enough
for earthly quaking,
strained until
the point of breaking.
karma has it's way of taking
you into its bait.
you think its light enough to hold,
and then it's three fold
the weight.
