that tune is from one of the very first groups that floored me as a kid in the sgv. their tune space cowboy along with others (planet patrol's play it at your own risk, malcolm mc laren and the world famous supreme team's she's looking like a hobo) put me on my path deep in which is now hip hop culture. didn't know at the time, but the junzon crew along with the others mentioned, captivated me so much so that being a dj was the logical progression. so... the question was: do you remember the junzon crew-pack jam 1983? very much so! vividly and fondly! an exclamatory and emphatic YES! a big part of who i am today is directly and indirectly derived from the music they made.
frankly, i thought that, besides some of the old timers such as randy j, r.a.w., etc., nobody knew who the hell the junzon crew were!! props to miss bassie. word. |
