Use of SnapShots on JS
Hey Dave,
You ever think about using other ad networks besides Google AdSense to help gen rev from this site?
I work for Snap.com out here in Pasadena, and we have a product called SnapShots and since I spend a great deal of time here during the day....
**err I mean, I stay working on AdOps related s**t and NEVER look at non work-related sites*** ;-)
...I fig'd I'd hit you up and see what your thoughts were about possibly using SnapShots on the site. Essentially the product is designed to sit on top of your hyperlinks and provide a "preview" of the destination URL while keeping your readers on your site, thus increasing site stickiness...and generally speaking more site ad revenue (depending on whether or not you're currently getting RevShare, CPC, or CPM pricing)
If you're interested in this, JSM me and I will hit you with the 411...
EZ,

Re: Use of SnapShots on JS
if you want to see it action, just to satisfy curiosity, you can check us out on TechCrunch.com..look for the lil bubbles next to links and onHover, Shots appear....
Fig'd I'd throw it your way as my way of trying to support this site other than my normal rantings ;-) |

Re: Use of SnapShots on JS
Yeah I've seen them before, I know exactly what you're talking about.
I guess if you like, send me a proposal. I may also be interested in using them on eecue.com.

Thanks,
