so ya.........for me personally that was the best desert party thus far.

better than all the other af ones put together...

first off, i cant believe all the peeps that showed up...and stayed on the dancefloor, brocking out the whole time.

joe and crew's paint/jesus show, lexi doing her fire spinning...awe awe awe...it was beautiful.. a lot going on that night.

i did miss all the homies who didn't get to make it though...you missed SUCH a good party....different vibe from the other ones......and you really had to be there to see it.

as always a big thank you to AF, lon dog, muah..and alll the friends that helped make it happen...coz i won't forget last night..woot.

wow, what a great night. It's a trip how the desert effects us all. Great music under the stars with great friends and some new ones.

A couple thank yous from the Almost Famous crew!

First and foremost, to all the dj's, thank you for your dedication to the music and your fans.. you guys simply killed it.. Thank you for helping us give the people a free party..

To maxx, you played a huge part in this party. thank you for waking up with me at 8:30am to start getting things together, to being the last man standing.. :-)

TO Jamie, Also for waking up with us and helping with the set up and the tear down. Oh and a huge thanks for sorting out sound.

TO the S.B crew aka Loud ass Bastards.. you guys rock! I'm so glad you guys got to make it out. You guys bring a very unique vibe.. and a huge thank you for your help tearing down!

To Zona, my desert Almanac! Thank you for all your help researching and getting the word out.

damn...missing family gatherings an s**t, everyone having a f**kin blast.

You know I can feel what happened out there, and when all of you people who I love(you know who you are) have these almost incredible experiences, I get it too, I can feel part of the impact it has on all of you by the way you come back, how you act with eachother, keep showing that mutual respect for eachother.

You know Lonnie, you are a very strong force, your a great guy and arguably my favorite person in this whole f**king world.

I see all of how you are, and it f**kin amazes me, you really are an example to me in so many ways.

Just wanted to say I love the parties you guys throw, never cease to amaze. I hate that the weather is getting to the point of no more Desert Parties, very very sad. I hope that you guys do some more stuff very soon, I love the sound, love the talent, good s**t all around.

So whos ready for a party the weekend of the 15th or 16th?? I'll throw one if people would like to go, I have a virgin spot that would definately go off!! Nice huge bonfire pit would keep us warm, and mother nature cant bring her windy bitchiness in this place.

but browsing the board today, I just needed to comment that it is really nice to read something positive for a change. I am glad to be a part of Almost Famous as they seem to be one of the few crews really only out to have a good time and listen to good music.

i had such a good time.. trona has become such a tradition. its always the same the place, but every time its always a different experience. i want to say thank you to the people who make it possible for us to listen to music out in the middle of no where. keep up with the good work.
