2006 Coachella
I went Saturday and was very dissapointed - prob to a large degree because I had never been to a super large "festival" style event.
Depeche Mode (though Im not a huge fan) put on an excellent show... |

i had a great time. Damian Marley was awesome! ran into lots of peeps and got faaaaded! it was all about the condo pre/during and after parties  ASSRUSH BABY!
and daft punk put on a pretty cool show even tho I don't really like their music ahha

Dino and I went last minute, early Saturday evening, after sacrificing our Sunday tickets to Relyt and his girl because the two bands I wanted to see were playing too late that day for me to get my sorry ass home before work the next day. We left LA at 6pm and arrived just in time for Depeche Mode... man, is that place beautiful or what???? We caught some Audio Bullies and Atmosphere, but missed Daft Punk in lieu of indulging our inner-Goth with She Wants Revenge. And when we were done we drove all the way back to LA! Souljas!!!! We only saw a few people we knew, so I can only assume everyone was tuckered out from partying all day by then. Even so - it was SUCH a good time!!!

they will probably never play in the states again. one of them has been having a lot of hearing problems and has been told not to do shows cuz it could cause him to loose his hearing. they will be playing in england on july 28th at global gathering, i'm gonna try my best to go |

I went for Tool. got there Sunday in time for Matisyahu, it was eh. Gnarles Barkeley was good, saw Digable Planets for the first time, which was nice n funky. By the time we dug our way into a crevice in the crowd for Massive Attack I was wondering how i was going to make it to Tool. It was so exhausting. But when Tool came on and I forgot everything. It was crazy. Biggest sing-a-long Ive ever witnessed. Tool alone was worth it. for me anyways. |
