I had fun at the house chillin with all my friends...
I missed most of the party (sorry) but still I had fun.

We heard a lot of storys 'bout the cops down there but luckly we didn't have a problem.

MEXICO was..... AWESOME!

Had the greatest time this weekend in Rosarito for Basscon 5! Lobster in Puerto Nuevo, quesadillas from Tacos El Norteno, chillin' by the pool at the Festival Plaza Hotel, watching the dolphins, seals, and pelican dives from the pier, 2 for 1 drinks at Rock n Roll taco, runnin' in the thick vibes from both rooms - both nites, the crazy antics from El Diablo and Chimichanga in their luche libre masks, spending quality time with my girlfriend and loads of my good friends, Halls cough drops to repair my worn out vocal chords...

What more could I ask for! Thanks to all the BassCon crew for bringing another amazing year, for me and mine, it was well worth it. =]

Rosarito changed my life....

i had an amazing time seeing all my friends there.

Yes, it was full of fun and great laughs.

And the last minute peeps that showed up after saying that they weren't gonna head up. Esp. Joanna! Youre the best. I am so glad that you came out.

I finally made it out to the pier, saw some dolphins, and seals, and people catching fish...

Having lobster at puerto nuevo (sooooo good!)

I had a great time. Such a great weekend getaway. The music and the company was just awesome.

I left my brain in rosarito...

the fish tacos & el pastor were bomb! I don't know how many dos xx's I drank but it was a lot haha I heard dope sets from everyone. definitely was fun times.. good to hang out with the homies and rock out in another country. ill post up my pics later tonight.

Thanks to the basscon crew, had a blast like always. Highlights of the weekend:

.Walking on the pier\beach Saturday morning (with no sleep)
.Watching Pacolypse spit a whole chicken taco on the table because it was full of bones (yea Paco, I'm still laughing)
.Jason's set (off the hook!)
.Running up a $135 bill of drinks in 1 hour (2 for 1's... How's your arm Mo!?!, and yes I gotta couple of head butts left!)
.Watchin Impact (Pat the fukken bloody Englishman, one hitter quitter) puke on the street's of TJ
.And lot's more that will take weeks to remember...

And we're back!!!

That took some recovery time. I obviously had a great time while I was in Rosarito. I received some great news that made it the best weekend EVER!

It was a damn shame about the sound outside. I feel bad for all the dj's that had to play on that system...Machete, Delano, Wallcrawler, the Menace, 1904...

But the inside room on Saturday was AMAZING to me. My favorite sets were thrown down by Theo, Priest and Philly B (Soul Technicians), Hochi (good lord!!), Jason (best I think I've heard you play), Deacon (no words necessary), RFX, and MK Ultra. Everyone did a great job holding it down, but those sets really stood out for me.

Although it was incredibly fun and surprisingly memorable, I won't ever get that faded at a party again. (please e-mail me the pictures so I can always remember why, lol... djdaemia@cox.net)

I'd also like to say happy birthday to my friend Nate, mr. DJ Breed. Good times, man!

Also, I had fun throwing down house music live for the first time. I opened on Friday with a 2-hour set and had a blast. Thanks for having me play, Daniel...glad to have been a part of all the Basscon madness!

I love drum n' bass for f**king life!!! I'm so happy to be a part of this incredible scene...*sheds a tear*

The party was cool.. we got there like 5 minutes before our set which is very stressful and makes things very hectic. I almost knocked myself out hitting the monitor in the darkness with my head haha It was a shame we got the problem set and things didnt work at first throwing a lot of what we had planned for the set, off, but thats the way it goes. Im glad Hochi got his s**t working while we played (but not about the huge groove in my record now from the arm incident hahaha..ahhh i know he didnt mean it) cause he had a huge set. big up.

I still don't think the tacos there are the best haha the tacos I've had around the hood CRUSH mexico and their crazy mystery meat

A big FUCK YOU to Corona Plaza and their SHADY ASS SECURITY who shook 7 of us down for money in our own f**king hotel! Then we got kicked out. Then, to top it off, we get pulled over not 10 mins later by a bitch ass mexican cop who also hustled us for another 200.

Im done with Mexico forever but Im glad a lot of people had a good time thats what it was supposed to be about.

We were there all of 6 hours and bounced out since the f**ken bitch ass security guard kicked us out at 4am... so I didnt get to see anyone else.

Thanks again to Deacon for the quick action taking and to Daniel for bailing us out. Big up to Daniel anyways and Aaron for handling the party and making sure everyone had a great time. From the looks of the review, id say the majority enjoyed themselves.

This'll be my last Basscon and basically last summer in Cali for a while cause its on to Florida.

Big up SoCal and all djs/crews involved.

No doubt. That is why I got a room at Festival Plaza - even if it was a little more expensive. Just a 1 minute walk to my hotel room, less worries about the cops.

Although I did have a scare on my way out of Mexico as a cop flashed his lights behind us, but it turns out he was just trying to get past. My heart sank for just a minute there.

Sorry to hear about people gettin' shook down. That absolutely sucks.
