And the fun begins....
Last night was a great night...
The vibe was so much better this time compared to the last Evolve.
With the exception of:
The fights!
The guy in the front of the stage who not only bumped the tables through LAW's set had FULL on conversations with R.A.W.
PEOPLE....Just because that dirty ass net isn't there anymore doesn't mean you have to be 2" from the stage!!!!!!
And for god's sake....DON'T TALK TO THE DJ WHILE HE'S WORKING!!!!! (RIGHT RANDY J 
anyways...
Yeah mainframe changed the way the Hully Gully now does security...
They are forced to be tough. (Although I could see at times when it was a little carried away)
One last thing on the negative tip....
IF YOU----> DO NOT---->HAVE A CURRENT IDENTIFICATION CARD aka ID (School, military, DMV, SOMETHING THAT HAS THE CURRENT DATE and a CURRENT PIC)-------->DO NOT COME!!!!!
I must of had to go outside 7 times to explain to you people that it is not up the CHAOS IN MOTION if you get in the club. It is up to the establishment. SO IF YOU KNOW DAVE OR that .com guy or whatever (haha) it does NOT MATTER!

THE MUSIC WAS ON MOTHER F'N POINT!!! Last night....
Both rooms were out of control.
All the openers were great...

The LAW came into town last night...and he has earned my respect. Ill plates you vinyl FREAK!
You told me your style out front and it was dope comin over the speakers....It's all about the fun like ya said. Good to meet ya and when I'm up in Seatlle you GOT ME!!! REMEMBER!!!! YOU DID SAY THAT!!!!!!
And last but not least R.A.W. was ON POINT LIKE THAT WAS HIS LAST SET....Every choon was killer and although not to many people did dance durning his set everyone was bouncing thier heads and waving thier hands to the fullest.
ALL in all...evolve was a great time.
It continues to get better and better!!! I REALLY can't wait for the next one!!!! AND YOU KNOW THIS...MAN!!!!!!!!!

i had alotta fun last night. the sound was good. the addition of the second breaks room rocked. and the fact i got treated to a second birthday celebration. thanks to katie and dave for putting on a great show and showing me good times. ill be there next month, even if your venue is in BFE.

security was pissing me off during raw's set trying to get that guy out in the front row!! they would just not give up, that was WHACK! (i guess after reading nemesis' review, that guy deserved to leave so i guess that guy was whack for not leaving)
law sounded real good with xyz...raw i think is getting played-out to me. seems like a lot more people were dancing to law than to raw and his ragga. i guess it's an acquired taste i never really acquired - listening to that kind of jungle that's not dance-oriented. seems to me what raw does is play what he himself wants to hear at parties which is cool...good artistry, i'm just not digging what he plays. i think he played like 2 or 3 songs that i could really bust to - kind of sad for how good of a dj he is, he sometimes can't get the crowd moving for s**t. not to diss the party, i had fun, i just have little gripe about being at parties for a short period of time and in that time not being able to dance as much as i want because r.a.w. is spinning some intelligent s**t over everyone's heads. -rant done-

I got there hella late like around 12ish during LAW's set.
But, I tried to make the best of it.
It was a good night @ the short time while I was there.
But, I ,actually, can't believe it stay packed until the END. Usually, by 1ish, it starts clearing out.

Anyhow I liked R.A.W.'s set. I think it's dope that he throws reggae in there. How boring it would be if everyone played the same tracks all the time and never had any variation. Oh wait, it does happen all the time, my bad. Just for fun I think I'm gonna drop a Care Bears record in my next set.

RAW rocked sick VERY DANCEABLE amen mashups.... i mean if it wasn't danceable, what were everyone dancing to from in 93 to 97 till now??? hmmmm..... i think the answers lies with, that not all danceable tunes have to be 2 steps all night. I say more chopped breaks and more amens makes a good kaotic hectic intense vibe which i personally love to hear... p.s. any dj who plays what they want to hear is to me a dj who is doing something correct. wheres the story/climax when 5 dj's play all f**king 2 step smashers??? you wouldn't make a movie with nothing but climax scenes it doesnt really make sense. peeeaacceeeeeeee |

Evolve was very good. Kingpin finally played Raun's tune "Jawbreaker" and that s**t is very impressive indeed. Grizzly brouth the rukkus and played the tune of the night by SOURCE DIRECT (ahhh the amens). LAW fukkin' killed it with his mad energy and cuts. He should really try to be a DJ/MC (do both at the same tyme). And RAW was typically RAW. The vibe was pretty ill also, people moving and bouncing around. The 2nd room was pretty tyght also with Sharee, Phear and Randy J holding it down. Good to see all of the people's in the house 4sure~ |

I had soooo much fun. Everyone who came out to support made it the best night. Also thanks to R.A.W for tearing s**t down. The Comedies are the greatest. It was great to meet so many more JS heads(Queen, Jluv, Bassbin, Nemsis, Nightstalker, Mystical, Extactica, Origin, anyone I missed). It really was a great night. Sound off!
