Well I died, and went to DNB heaven.
Off tha chain? Discusting? Words can't even describe how amazing this bash was. Glad to see the lines when I pulled up, didn't take long for the heads to max the place out.

The venue-wow great place, I love that old architechture, DJ's/Mc's everywhere, main entrace, lounge...I think someone was even spinning in the bathroom.

DJ's/MC's - All spot on, just over the top! Big shout out to Divine Elements, I was lucky to see them at a secret canyon show and tonight once again they were at interstellar overdrive, just a perfect set (805 represent bwoi).

The dancers in white-I'm sure you cats are well known, I think they add so much to the show, just amazing.

GRAPEVINEZ crew - you guys must have one s**t eating grin this morning! Can we do that again next week? pleeez!!!

Man oh man, I must have ran into every SoCal junglist last night. Got there at 9.30pm and there was already a looong line. The venue itself was fresh, every room was classy.

Rolled in and the Drumz room was on fire, if you're wondering who the mad man was jumping up and down during MK Ultra's set, that was Spectr feeling them vibes.

Rolled up to the OC room and Mainframe and Kemst were knocking it out ard. Next up KidB simply fricking killed it with his turntable skills, damn Kid, take it easy on em

The main room was frickin crazy rammed, sound was crisp. Shabba was killin it. Headed to the SD room, and man what a nice Liquid vibe up in there, every room was tight in general.

Got to big up Maurice for throwing another memorable event for SoCal, poor geezer, he looked well and stressed when I seen him, the joys of running sessions eh

Big up MCMC, Alisson and the whole Grapevinez crew for the invite and hospitality.

man that event was just that AN EVENT!!!! props to all talent (and there was serious talent up in there). props to MCMC and GP for putting something special together. props to the visuals on stage (those tvs were dope) and the sound was banging, the dancers were banging also. all in all this event represented all that SoCal has to offer in terms of where our scene is at. it is funni because at WMC people get super hyped over World of Drum n Bass events (which are fun mind you), but this event IS the best event to hit the soil of the USA top to bottom from talent, to vibe, to more. i enjoyed myself in all rooms. good to see SoCal locals on at a big event reppin' all different styles of Dnb. booooyaaaaa!!!

Thanks for all the great comments, I am touched and very proud to read them ALL.
So let me see, where do I start with this one.

Well I must say a HUGE THANK YOU to SPECTR and the Drumz famila for an amazing turn out for the art opening. There was a long line down Vine at 9pm and at least 300 people that arrived before 10pm and by 11pm the Spider Club was totally at capacity. This is a true testament of the legacy that SPECTR possess and I am truly honored that Grapevinez was given this opportunity to work with you. One love to the Granddaddy SPECTR.

I must say a MASSIVE Thanks to ALL the Artists that performed in the various areas. DEEP. LIQUID, FIRETRIBE, BULLETPROOF, CAUSE AND EFFECT, HUNG MONKEY, DUB CHAMBER, ADRENALINE and FREEBASS, You have all shown that Drum N Bass is built on love and dedication. I hope that the event was everything you hoped it would be and enjoyed you areas and time slots. I have heard nothing but good things from all the areas, I am eternally grateful, BIG UP YOUR SELVES and I wish you all the success in the world for the future.

I want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who made it down to the Avalon & Spider Club last night making this night a very special night indeed. A SPECIAL thanks to everyone that bought a presale ticket and one to those who paid at the door, without you guys shows like this would be impossible. I saw a LOT of happy faces and the dance floor was still full at 4am, a sure indication of a great party.

A SPECIAL Thank you goes out to my wife ALLISON. You have stuck by my side throughout the ups and downs of Grapevinez and without your support this event would surely not have happened. I love you and hope that the HISTORY ride was a fun one and one that will bring back fond memories for years to come.

On A personal note: Sometimes as a promoter you do all you can, Book artists, flights, hotels, design print and distribute 100,000 flyers bring on s**t load of production and the night does not meet the expectation by either falling short on numbers or the vibe not being that great and as any promoter will tell you it is soul destroying. Well I am happy to say that last night was NOT one of those nights. Everything went right on this one and it was everything I hoped it would be and some. This event has lifted my soul and warmed my heart. I received some very nice comments on the night and at the time my head was full of issues but after 3 hours sleep those comments finally sink in and so does HISTORY III.

I have never in a million years seen an MC hipe the crowd so effin much and so effin crazy in allllllll my life!!! This was my first time I have ever seen Shabba MC and lemmy tell you....the peeps in London what's up!!!! Next party on the list is a EUROPE location, thats for sure.

Big up to all the MC's and DJ's you guys definitly tore it up....but on the real.....I thing EUROPE knows whatsup!!!

I had so much fun and the party seriously didn't stop till 4 in the morning.

I had an absolutley amazing time and this was definatley one of the best events I have had the honor of playing at/attending..From the decor, to the djs, to the amazing energy this was a top notch production that I will remember for a long time to come. What can i say that hasnt been said. It was an AMAZINGLY AMAZING night. Shabba & Shimon!! i was in Awe.... then Future Prophicies, one the the best sets i ever heard, their energy was great, hyping the crowd. I loved it, i didn't want it to end, but all good things must. My face hurts, i had a constant BassFace all night. Basslines were never ending, just a constant asualt to my ear drumz.
Big ups to my fellow Grapes, you lot are some of the best people i know. Can't wait to do this agian.

History III was SICK just as I expected. The venue was one of the sickest venues I have ever been to. The sound in the main room was AWESOME. All the DJS were on point! (WHO WAS THE DJ PLAYING IN THE DRUMZ ROOM AROUND 11ish? AFTER THE LADY DJ...HE WAS PLAYIN THE SICKNESS! IF ANYONE CAN ID HIM FOR ME, PLEASE JSM ME)

i have been to the Avalon many many times, i entered thru the side and came down thru the upstairs then into the lobby area i think and i seriously lost my orientation for like 20min because it was SO damn packed i had never seen it like that and didn't know where i was (i was not even ripped yet). the vibe was raging, my mood was in top form because of the energy in the place and that is my kinda party! i had so much fun!

a job well done maurice, allison & crew--thank you. i'm happy all your hard work resulted in that kinda night.
