Thurs 11/16 Junglist Platoon invades Deep!!!!!
I must say tonight was even sicker than I thought it was gonna be... fukin insane! All of the JP crew threw down awesome sets, the dancefloor was packed, Deco & XYZ on the Mic killin it... it couldn't have gone better. Massiv big ups to Julia for bringing this show to the Bee Hive... very original idea. I like the remodel so far at the venue, definitely lookin forward to opening up for Skynet tomorrow! hope to see some heads out early style. I'm goin to bed.. no work for me tomorrow so I'll be ready to rock it! Gawd I love this s**t! |

Highlight of the night for me was when Monique from "America's Top Model" come up to the door and trys walking in without paying.
I stop her and i say, "There is a ten dollar cover charge tonight." She replies, "You don't know who I am? I don't pay to get into clubs." I then tell her, "It wouldn't matter if you were Paris Hilton trying to get in, I would still charge you the $10 door cover." Her Girlfriend ended up paying for her to get in because she said she didn't have the $10. Ha, Too funny!!!
True story and I had no idea who she was. Nor did I really even care.

good times!!! the junglist platoon were rinsing it the whole time i was there - relentless bass and beats. real cool to see some scratching and turntablism. the sound was better than normal in there and the vibe was runnin'

I had a good time last night. Thx Deep, Deamia, JP. Good turnout, met some new peeps, saw some of the SD homies and I even got down a little. Not so much fun at work today tho..
Oh and yes yes always feelin the jungle scratchin/ turnablism ..keep it coming Machete.

Wow! That was awesome! A HUUUUUUUGE thank you to everybody that came out and showed some support and had a good time! I had a blast and I was super stoked on the turnout! I really wanted to send out a very sincere and special thank you to Wallcrawler, Probable Cause, Delano, and Skyler Mic for helping me have an experience like this! Special thanks to Machete, Scooba, Clutch, Drone and XYZ for coming out from LA, you guys rinsed it!!! And I would also like to thank the cats that rolled down from LA and OC to come party it up in SD!
Also special thanks to Deco for making an appearance...dude kills it on the mic each and every time!
The night was a huge success. Thanks to all the people that came out early!
I would love to do another party in the future!
Come back to the honey beehive tonight for SKYNET!!! They're opening up the second room for this one!

good times indeed.
The Platoon came with the ruff vibes just like clockwerk! Everyone had thier own flavor rolling and it was well recieved. Scoob deffo had the TC jamz rolling and Clutch was bringing the dope irie vibes. Drone was aiming for the juggular all while the Chopper himself cut the place to shreds!!
