damn, that was tight...
one dope track after another....the man did not want to stop playing...
at the end he kept twikin out the tunes with effects...that was cool
I got there late and heard that jason just murderd it with an old school set....damn...next time...
That is a dope spot too. the bartenders seem to really be into to bopping thier heads to the music...one was yelling s**t out, swingin his flashlight...
big up sam for the quick re-local... yea, looks like you found alittl gem of a spot...maybe theres plans for the future...?! hmmm?

Breakage had a great selection as well. Last night felt like an exclusive one-off night with Breakage.

jason dropped some sounds i hadn't heard it YEARS.. i mean WOW that s**t was incredible.. really enjoyed that, man!!
breakage took things to a more modern level.. playing new and older tunes.. mixing flawlessly vinyl to cd and back again.. intimate intense and full of skill please bring him back!!!! he pwns

Many, many thanks to everyone who came out early to catch my warm-up set, Sam & the Temple crew for booking me, those who copped CDs from me, and of course the Tokio/Holly's crew for giving D&B a home on Sundays! I had a blast playing and chilling with old & new friends amidst the new environs of Holly's.
It's a pretty cool concept putting the DJ rig in the middle of the dancefloor, I've never seen that before but it's definitely an interesting adjustment to the normal seclusion of the DJ in a booth. That bartender was crunk too, don't see that too often...
Jason rocked it with the old school, talk about deep crates man! That kid knows his science. And Breakage, I mean damn - he's got talent, a natural DJ. Great track selection, mixing, and vibe he brought to that place.

Yeah, I've seen the DJ in the middle of the dancefloor once before at The End in London. I think it is a good idea because the DJ isn't behind the speakers so he/she hears the same thing the dancefloor hears ( = better sound quality).
That bartender was funny...

that was awesome, eek was tearing it up on the dancefloor. i missed j getting hit by the breakers but i was thinking that could happen easily there haha.

i had a great time. that was definately different djing in the middle...i do have to say that is the first time i have ever been kicked in the back while mixing by some people bustin'!!!!!
