Gzuz and Muad'dib bringing the ragga flava to start the night, very good set...I think they brought the whole empire with them too cuz there were nuff early birds in attendance.
Clutch was on fire blazing a set that had peeps crowding the front stage in anticipation of his every tune.
What can I say about Shortee and Origin??
Professionals from start to finish....
had headz noddin, dancin, movin, shaking til we finally cut it at 2:20am. Great combo of 2 very talented artists.
Last but not least...
BIG thanks to mr.XYZ for helping bring this series to life.
This man has done so much for LA DnB in the last few years we are proud to finally give him a home.

Wholly fuk!!! Just woke up. Respect last nite was str8 POPPIN'!!!!!!!! Seriously it was so packed downstairs, i could've swore Dslboy was suppose to play, hahaha. On the reals though every DJ last night brought it, the crowd was hella thick and thatz what RESPECT is all about. My boys filmed last night too so i can't wait to see that footage. Madd respects to Origin and Shortee for throwing it down. Also big shout to the whole RESPECT crew/family for offering me the residency, i am fukkin' honored!!! Damn last night was just ridiculous, i am ramblin', hahahaaha |

Last night was siick! Highlight for me was Shortee's intro - made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Can't believe my tire blew out on the drive home though. It could have been real bad but everything's fine. Side note: make sure your tires are cool when you're driving - I think mine needed some air.

the best part of the nite is post the club me "ghost ridin' tha whip" for like 20 yards down the street and a gang of people on the street cheering me on, hahahaha. good times, thanks all who came thru!!! btw i brought down a camera crew of 2, but i swear there were like 2 other people filming (with nice gear/setup) last nite??? Anyone know who that was?

YO!!! I has SOOOOOO much fun last night! That crowd was THICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
Faust had a great time rockin the old school & bboy breaks...the upstairs was packed so early! I can only hope the crowd had as much fun as I did rockin my d&b set downstairs with XYZ and then scratching with Origin was such a bonus! What a treat -- Ryan, you rocked it
Big ups to Machete, Justin & XYZ for puttin it all together! It is so clearly about the music with you guys & I love you for it! Rob, you are a rare breed in this city...dont ever forget it!
All the DJs threw it down propa! Such an incredible turn out for ALL LOCAL TALENT! Chris said it was sold out...is that true??!! LA DnB PEEPS are my FAVORITE--you guys def know what's up. And ladies, you were reppin hard last night! Dnb divas unite!
Special thanx to all my Scratch Academy fam that came out to support as well as Origin's SAE crew. It was like a field trip in the club with all our students. BASSLINE 101: Class is now in session!
HUGE congrats to XYZ for his new residency at the longest dnb weekly in LA & props to Machete, Justin & the rest of the crew for offering it to him. He has def earned it and will rep RESPECT with the utmost respect fo sho!
I can't wait to see the footage from all the video crews. My peeps from Mix Revolution TV rolled through to film, XYZ had his crew there...but who was the third??

Last night was amazing!
Shortee did a phenomenal job during her own set and laying her futuristic cuts all over my futuristic beats was icing on the cake. It felt as natural as hemp sandals up there... vibes for days.
Props to XYZ for overseeing this whole project from CD mix to decks at the club and everywhere inbetween. (Not to mention crowd hype like he was wearing a clock)
Massive massive RESPECT to the JP boys for supporting me for so many years and providing me with a home to play this music I love so much. Thank you for everything.
Oh, and Big ups to Faust for sorting out last minute technical details!
And last but not least, the CIA and FBI know all about MC Dino's secret mission.... Nice work man...
