Detour
5:10am and just home from eating late nite Korean food with T-Power and the homegirls and this nite was thick!!!!! Much props to APX-1 and Crs? for a stellar show. Man T-Power killed it!!!! All the DJs did the damn thing. Fuk that was a gr8 drum n bass party for-really-reals, glad i could be a part of it!!! |

yo dude that party was siiiick! dope sets from apx and machete. The vibe was good - the mcs were hyping it up! People was getting down -up in front...and tpower brought some more heat....like that place needed to get any hotter.....whew....!
so much fun rockin out to great sounds...

I'd like to thank everyone who came out saturday (especialy the friends who paid the $10 just to support us and LA d'n'b when they didn't have too) We (along with the Jungle Riddem homies)showed T.Power a good time for his 24hrs in LA (from DETOUR to the next day at Venice beach to great cuban food (Versailles on Venice Blvd.) to kill'n time in the LBC to LAX) he's look'n forward to come'n back. Big up Machette, XYZ & Red October for rock'n the spot (CRS? & APX1 too, always bring'n the fire) T.Power played some ill ill tunes. Sound and lighting was incredible, again.
The line-up is set & Flyers for the next Detour taking place saturday March 17th will drop this week, so come out and celebrate St.Patty's day with us at the Grandstar. Bring your Greens.... peace |

We are amazed at the energy and support that we have been blessed with. For this myself and Curious thank everybody that was in attendance this last Saturday. It was another packed house and a sick night for Mr. Power. He played tunes that made all the ladies in the house go wild. Machete.....GodDamnit what can I say. Showed up with his A Game without a doubt. His scratching and track selection on this night was something that I hadnt heard from him for awhile. One of his best sets this whole year in my opinion. Xyz was the icing on the whole cake. More and more each year I cannot express how much Chris has matured on the mic. He is one of the best Mc's in the States. HandsDown.....Red October made the trip all the way from S.B. and it was all worth it. Thanx homie you came through like a lion.
To the whole Detour Crew, Location, and especially Sound. We thank everybody for making this something special everytime.
So I guess this means we all meet again next month for a huge Lets Get Drunk Celebration on St. Patricks Day.....
Be on the lookout for the flier being posted up tomorrow...............

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was on point last Saturday. The lighting and the SOUND for sure made for a real thick vibe. I was a bit under the weather but came out anyway, and am sooo glad that I did.
Rob's selection had me in that mode where I can't go anywhere cause I gotta hear the next one. And T-Power; too bad he couldn't play longer. GREAT tunes. That guy has been producing tunes since the early SOUR Recs. days and it REALLY shows. Sound was phenominally clean.
And I agree about Chris as being one of the top MCs in all of North America. Partytime host indeed.
Ya dun real good boys. Can't wait to see who's next! |

came up from SD to brock out and enjoy the sounds...i was extremely satisfied with the overall performances this night. hot dayam i wished parties in SoCali were more like this. glad to have been a part of the energy on the dancefloor. BOOM! |

I have to give serious props to the Tonz familia for putting on such a great night and for having me spin what turned out to be one of the most fun sets i've played in some time.
Apx-1 was runnin' tings behind the decks as we walked in and continued to bring up the energy til I got on.
Such a nice, intimate venue with some killer sound and the most comfortable set-up I've touched outside of my bedroom in a while...
mainly the reason I was scratchin' like a maniac
