RESPECT last nite
WHOLLY FUK!!!!! Top to bottom that is what I am talking about. Man seriously *real talk* i had seen bits and pieces of Divine Elements perform and Maximum Moves and heard their CDs and i was like "dope, some SoCal heads pushing themselves doing good music", but honestly yesterday i became one of both of these group's fans. These 2 groups f**kin' owned!!!! First up Divine Elements i was super sleeping on in terms of their live and i mean LIVE show. The set up, the DJ scratching, the beat boxing everything was TOP FUKKIN' NOTCH!!!!! From breaks to dnb, from the funky s**t to hard s**t, seriously that s**t was ill. Next Maximum Moves came on and man this is one of the best DJ/MC/a DJ MCn' duos hands down period!!! Dip is a crazy ass DJ!!!!!! Seriously man, i ain't no one special, but seriously u put on a gawddamn DJ "how to rock the fukkin' spot" clinic, i mean a CLINIC last nite. From the teases to the drops to hyping the crowd to the precise mixes and then the MCn'/singing all were the truth!!! And J-Tec holding it down properly on the mic man that s**t was a thing of beauty. Amen to DJ/MC duos continually working and building with each other!!! Fuk is there a recording of this night??? And mucho props to Drone and Machete always holding it down and the one like Brace MC coming thru, boy is hyphy!!! Man last night was ape s**t bananas. Junglist Platoon + DE + MM was the s**t on paper but was even krazier in person!!!!!
best comment of the nite: "yo Chris you know now you got to get Maximum Moves on a B2B session..." . .. that was the realest statement I heard all nite!!!
last nite the crowd was "dirty dishes" cause we all got rinsed the fuk OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a blast.. there was alot of my oc family in attendance.. place was packed. really good local support.. Divine Elements.. Big the fuuck up.. you guys really push your selfs and i see you doing biiger and biiiger things really soon here.. Maximum moves.. woaaaaaaa rinsed.. really goodtimes last night.. it was def a pleasure to be there.. Bigg up to everyone that made it out. |

Last night was such a breath of fresh air! RESPECT always goes off and showcases proper talent, but last night, there was so many new additions to what a night at respect can be. Divine Elements was PURE, idk how else to describe it. Live Dnb like that just makes you feel good, PLUS the beat boxin PLUS the scratching OMG it was a SHOW within the Show that is respect. And my boys, maximum moves, I couldnt be happier for you guys! i know how much you were looking forward to this and you guys really delivered and made quite an impression! ima so proud  much love to you both
bottom line, s**t was packed, the sets were flawless, the coordination of everything flowing and working together just topped it off... i tip my hat to all of you, congrats boys!
lookin forward to seeing more of you guys, and more shows like this one

yeah last nite hit from all angles. live s**t, all different types of styles, BGIRLn' (forgot to mention how tite Andrea and Lux were, HOTNESS!!!), MCn', quality DJn', beatboxin', hell even 2 stages (turn ur attention over here, now over there), laptops, keyboards, booze, bass, singing etc. was just crazy. seriously man will someone just do a 3 day weeknder LA Massive event already with an all SoCal lineup *wishes upon a star*. SoCal Talent = Supreme!!!!!! |

good music, lots of dancing, intresting conversations - good turn out - upstairs was a'blazing once again - more dancing, beautiful women...and again the music was awsome..
Someone mistook me for Gridlock! - that was cool compliment -
i've actually missed like 3 weeks of Respect....no wonder i just haven;t been feeling right..!
lol -today im at work, feelin like s**t...but in another way i feel better then i would have - had i not gone last nite - Big up DE MM!!

Last night was fu*kin unbelievable!!!!!!!! Although I felt a bit crammed (gimmie sum space biatch! haha) , but I guess that's a good thing cuz it was crazeee PACKET!!!!!!! WOW! Maaaaaaan! I was super impressed with both Devine Elements and Maximum Moves. Ya'll got sum skillz ..i LOOOVED the live perfomance and Max Moves tore the house down! Me and Lux had a blast dancin for you guys! Thanks!! I had waaaay too much fun! Overall great friggin night upstairs and downstairs!! Big up LA dnb cuz this is what it's all about...

Divine Elements live set is f**king amazing and it was a privelage closing out the night for such sick headliners. Preying Mantus & Lux killed it and are always welcome to bust a Maximum routine!!! I definitely had it in mind since the first night we tried that setup for Paradox that a sick stage to stage, 2x4, head to head situation would totally rock.
just gotta work out the logistics from start to finish but be ready for war

honestly i give it up to RESPECT for seriously giving loco's aka locals a chance to shine. it was evident that DE and MM had so much respect for Respect and their scene that they made sure that they left nothing to be questioned after their sets. that is a testament to how dope the LA scene is that our artists think this way and Respect for giving the opportunity to loco's!!!!
