im really bummed that we left so early.. i really liked that venue and wished we would have stayed longer.. hahaha sean and i dusted two bottles of jager before we headed out..so the that was the reasoning for me being the weird guy that night hahahaha hope the party was all you could have hoped for lauren. big ups to circuit for and everyone else involved

damn that place was packed. thank you to everyone who came out and partied. a huge thank you to everyone who played... faust and shortee, hazen, xyz,whizard,trouble,jtec and repete. everyone played a great set, the mcs were on point. faust and shortee killed it.... one of the best sets of the year so far in my opinion.
thank you to whizard and johnny v for hooking up the sound (which was banging) and all their help throughout the night

Night was definetly dope, had a great time! Highlight of the night ws J-Tec getting people to buy that old mans roses, hilarity!!! Asian Mosh Pit Mafia sucked balls!!! they were up to some nasty antics in the restroom as well..... Shortee & Faust definetly killed it! I was dying whne they dropped the REprezent Remix, hahahaha!!! |

I cannot even begin to convey how appreciative i am for this weekend... I just keep reflecting on it, "THAT was my 21st birthday party" over and over... im still in awe
recap: jen, my family thought you were SO f**kin cool lol they loved what you played, as did I
Whiz - my sis (the rocker hippie who has NEVER listened to DnB) was so stoned off the cookies, and when she heard you play Dub she was like "omg this is totally what i need to hear right now! i can totally feel the bass" !!! (ima give her the Imperial Dub sessions)
Auren - best birthday set all week!!! out of the 5 i get 
Hazen - O M G your opening was amazing! Those first tunes were pure fiya!
and of course Teh Faust & Shortee - I have denied myself the pleasure of seeing them play live, strictly for the fact that i wanted my first time seeing them to be at my b-day party. Im so glad i waited. i was completely BLOWN away! i admire those two so much. completely flawless. I was front & center with cupcake in hand brokin out with the BF... i couldnt have asked for more.
I Genuinely want to thank everyone for showing up and for all the birthday wishes. i will never forget this. To have all my family and friends together at such an amazing show... well, it just doesnt get much better than that.

ps: i hope you all enjoyed the cookies!!! the recipe was for 60 cookies, i ended up makin 36... so you got about twice the recommended amount of dosha per cookie lol
I've heard some funny stories relating to the cookies from that night, I hope i didnt drug anyone too hard |
