Re: Burn
Well, I had a blast! Besides the few small sound issues...the place was bumpin! It was nice to see some friends from LA make it out. ;-)
Caught the end of Whizards set....very nice....just love that crazy guys energy!
GENR8 started off with some hard dark bizness then switched it up with some tec then a little dubie dub...very nice to hear all those brand new tunes on a system..an a variety at that!
Social Security never disappoints with his crazy vinyl collection....man...that bag is bigger than him! lol
Over all super fun night and thanks to everyone that made it happen, even with the challenges that arose with the venue change...good job! ;-)
See you at the day party! cheers! |

Re: Burn
Fun ass party! That venue is pretty dope, those organic beers are pretty crazy....
A thousand thank you's to the Burn crew for havin' us down, and takin' care of us proper.
Social security is a madman on the decks, and brings the heat like no other while still bringing a lot of funk and flavor in his sets.
I would be lying if I said I was feelin' Gener8's dark and nasty tech-sound (just a personal preference), but he certainly had me jumpin' when he switched it up to old school jump-up circa 2001 - nice move!
The opening deejays (Admix and Animate) certainly warmed it up nicely with some really vibin' dubwise and liquid styles, I was really feelin' their set, nice work fellas!
Thank you XYZ for accompanying me on the mic and helping get things jumping. Its been a while since I played SD last, but I can't wait to go back already.

Re: Burn
I just wanted to clear the air RE: the 2nd room @ Burn this past Saturday especially re: Smog Crew.
Burn had to be relocated... due to comic come 99% of the venues were booked.
So when we found an available venue we jumped on it so we wouldnt have to cnacel the enitre show..
Due to the relocation and the fact that the size or system in the second room would not have done the Smog Crew justice,
I spoke w/ Drew and came to the conclusion to reschedule them once we find an adequate venue.
It was OUR decision... The Smog crew DID NOT back out!
again we apologies to the Smog Crew and the people that were excited to see them...
As far as Pain and Kechup... or apologies go out to them and the people that were excited to see them...
as well...
thanks to Schedule One, Deep, PPR, Kava Lounge... all the artists... and all that made it out...

Re: Burn
First I wanna start off by saying Eric (Probable Cause) your such a pleasure to work with and inspite of all the crap that happened we managed to pull this thing together and give an awesome show to the people.
Second thanks to everyone that came out to support Burn. It was ruff going due to the venue change and all but everyone came together to spread the word and Id like to thank all those people.
Thanks to all the dj's you all killed it proper. Thanks out to the Kava lounge for the last minute booking.
Thanks to Smog and Ketchup and Pain for understanding about the venue change you guys are true professionals.

Re: Burn
^^^^
Thank you both for putting in a ton of hard work, and pulling through in adverse times to keep the show alive, and not just cancelling it!
Much appreciated, and it resulted in some good ass times!
