out to pure filth crew. top boys on the sound. bass was clean and heavy all night long. couldn't have been better. thanks. 
matty g and nick always on top form.
youngsta absolutely flawless as usual. the man is a machine.

this event worked like clockwork. thank you to everyone who helped out to make this event happen - to everyone who came out to show support - to the amazing pure filth crew and their soundsystem, and to all the dj's a huge thank you - it was a legendary night!
system was banging so hard that people seeing the brian jonestown massacre in the echoplex downstairs said they could hear the bass rumbling over the band playing! it was sick!!
all the dj's rocked it! from the classics of subcode & showguns, to the all dubplate set by youngsta - it was a night full of excellent music.
big up all the people in the crowd losing your minds! check the photo page - thanks to regal D, they look sick
Next show is October 6th - cant say who's playing just yet, but when the cat is out of the bag, it will be really big.

that party was BANGING!!! Due to a prior engagement me and the Sam XL didn't make it in time to see/hear nearly enough of Matty G and Nick Argon. Dance floor was filling up nicely and people were feeling the sounds. Youngsta smacked it all over the shop! Man came thru w/ some FRESH dubs (anyone catch LA's own Infiltrata getting some play during his set) and impeciable mixing. Dance floor filled up to capacity real quick like (couldn't even walk thru the room at one point) and it turned into a sea of smiling faces. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my SMOG family! |

seriously, this was the best show of the weekend (and one of the tops for the year by far). great vibe, killer tunes, awesome venue, and a crew that welcomes ya like family. definitely worth far more than i payed for the cover.
can't wait for the next one guys. very well done! |
