JAMAICA 360 @ THE KEY CLUB!
Last nite was super dope! I had an amazing time. The sounds in the main room was stellar - the opening band with Cezar to Half Pint and Spragga all killed. Especially Half Pint. Great music in between live acts too.
The drum&bass area was hittin' --- everytime I was down there the dancefloor was going off. Crazy energy for Jo-s and Audio Angel, and it carried over for me and Subflo B2B - with Re:Pete and Dino on the mic... at that time it was simply blazing.
Too bad I couldn't be in two places at once so I could check out both stages all nite... haha.
Good times, good times. It was great seeing everyone there. =] |

Re: JAMAICA 360 @ THE KEY CLUB!
Right on Meester Whizard! You, Subflo, Re:Pete & Dino we're fun to watch. I love seeing DJs sing along w/ tunes, then I know they are INNIT!
Yes, there was much good energy and good folks in the venue last night. It generally takes one crazy, fun loving dancer to open up the dancefloor wide enough for everyone to get on, and soon as that one lady down front did it, folks were rockin out.
So many sweet people. Much love to all who came to say hey, hey hello!
Big up Dino & Tak & Devoe sending love and w00ts on the earlier side of things! Ha. I'd big up Karl, but he'd never see it!
And of course Jo-S! How do you pack all that energy in there?! So great to rock w/ you always.
LAX Entertainment... WOW! Thanx again! xo- Shida |

Re: JAMAICA 360 @ THE KEY CLUB!
we had a blast... great show, it was nice meeting Half Pint (he tore it up by the way, and when I mentioned jungle music to him he was well aware of that old "greetings" remix he has on an old greensleeves jungle record, he actually brought that up to us) another highlight I'd say was when our bredren the General Jah Mikey got to rock a quick 15-20 minute set while Selector M16 through down Jah Mike's dancehall beats, don't sleep on this artist he's been rock'n s**t since R.A.W. was a toddler, speaking of which nobody manipulates a cdj like R.A.W. wicked stuff, Jo-S your energy is like no other behind the decks and big up the Audio Angel your voice is a nice addition over the DnB. alot of back and forth between rooms.. Lamour & the Mystics are a great band there material was nice early and they were also a great backing band for Half Pint. back down stairs I also have to give it up too Wizard & Subflo drop'n some nice tunes, the Hittahs I know ya played early this time ya still killed it for us few peeps there early, Big up my ToD/GL familly (Curious & APX1) always hold'n it down proper. I'llbelook'n forward to another reggae show from the LAX crew. boom son. peace

Re: JAMAICA 360 @ THE KEY CLUB!
One of the great things in life for me is constant diversity, especially through music. This event definitely accomplished that. Also uniting sounds that all lend from each other was a goal achieved.
The diversity even in the reggae was shown, Lamour with a jazzy style, Cezar with a reggae soul, Rootz Underground fusing roots, rock and reggae, Mikey mixing roots and dance hall, Pint with a purist reggae sound and Spragga and on the dance hall tip.
With hip hop we saw old school dana dane, and gangsta with Eiht, to Glory with a live fresh feel to hip-hop.
With the jungle room, we were able to expose the sound to a larger audience, some of whom may have never heard the sound before.
It was a beautiful thing to all this music flow perfectly in harmony.
I would like to thank all the performers as every one was spectacular and showed why they made the line up.
A thanks to surprise guest Jack Maness of Long Beach Dub All-Stars, Reggae sensation Twice, Dance Hall Artist Greg Hines from the Red Square Crew and Survivor Slim
A very special thanks to Jahwy, his girl, and Daniel of Jungle Riddum you guys are the best.
Avery very special thanks to my wife NUHA for all her hrd work, sacrafices and commitments.
Love. Life. Music.

Re: JAMAICA 360 @ THE KEY CLUB!
This event was truly outstanding from start to finish. Every where I turned people were having such a good time. Each one of the main acts were fantastic and the line up flowed perfectly.
The DnB room was rocking nice all night. Every DJ held it down properly.
SPRAGGA BENZ murdered the place.
Wow.....fantastic time.... |

Freddy i gotta say it was a blessing to work with you on this event. thank you for trusting in me to handle your main stage. such a rush to be working hand in hand with all of that talent.
nobody was trying to be super star, just real humble and all really good!!!!
my one complaint just like Whizard. i wish i could be in 2 places at once. i gotta work on that...
ready to work with ya on your next project.
