WED 9/19: TECH ITCH / HIVE / DISTORTED MINDS @ Bassrush
Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, Distorted Minds will be appearing THIS Wednesday September 19th instead of their originally scheduled date of Wednesday September 26th. We’re really sorry about the confusion and hope you’ll join us this week for a full roster of headlining talent performing behind the decks all night. Distorted Minds will open the night with an extended set, after which Tech Itch and Hive will step up to deliver a storming tag team performance. We’re still finalizing all the details regarding next week’s show and will make an announcement once we have the new lineup confirmed. If you have any questions about these changes, don’t hesitate to drop us a line.

Gotta love the last minute venue change! I thought the staff at Basque were really cool and welcoming to our crew, which probably doesn't fit the mold of their regular clientele. Good vibes for sure, the sound was rumbling and the tunes were slammin! Hive's set rocked it, it was great to hear such a diverse selection chock full of great tunes by everybody from Logistics & Lynx to Spor & Hive himself (Neo remix!). |

the vibe inside basque was great, i really like that spot.
distorted minds played some major tunes, some new stuff i havnt heard yet

Showed up a little late cause I went to a show at the Improv, but it was definitely poppin. The vibe was thick.
I like Funktion @ Basque, that'd be tight if it stayed there. It'd be even tighter if the sexy ladies that dance in the widows behind the bar were brought in
Last night was definitely a fun night. |

yeah that was one of the better dnb shows ive been to in a while (been poor lately -_-). thats y i always count on bassrush for amazing sound and vibes.
i didnt get a chance to see distorted minds, but i got there right when hive started his set which blew my mind. he really is perfection when he does his magic  . tech itch was good as always, but i kinda thought he could of played a better mix w/o all the drop outs. i dunno, maybe hive just performed THAT good so i couldnt really get into tech itch afterwards (and i specifically went FOR tech itch!!). oh well, still an AWESOME show.
but all in all i loved it. GREAT vibes from everyone. AWESOME venue change. i DUG the basque with its size, friendly security, and willingness to have a dope dnb show over there with such last minute changes. i kinda wish they wouldnt have stopped the moshing tho 
overall, i thought it was an amazing show to say the least -_- |

Most of the Hollywood clubs unfortunately won't allow moshing, even if there is plenty of space to keep the pit away from people who don't want to be near it. If you like to mosh, you have to hit up the undergrounds or drive down to SD, where a lot of the venue owners that host dnb nights are old punkers, so they won't stop your pit |
