Man its hard cause ive been to so many that have turned out to be great!!

But i was talking with someone over the weekend at a party and we both agreed that JuJuBeats @ Santa's Village was one of the Best parties we'd been to...Im talking had "the most fun at" - not including/excluding dj talent!

Also I will never forget-
FULL CIRCLE (Ol'Skool outdoor event on the largest grassy, rocky feild id ever seen in 1997 i want to say, maybe 9

Was my first experiance at a large outdoor party, the greatest most SECURE one to date it rocked til 10am in the morning!!

i can never forget insomniac 1 year anniversary. had already been going to the weekly $7 dollar events they used to do at the gotham hall, and world on wheels, etc... keep in mind this where i got to see dj's like r.a.w., ron d core and many more for the first time. then they threw the 1 year, i think it was called one roof at the shark club (now the crash mansion).

there is just something about waiting in line for a party that doesnt start till 3 am in the morning. all the people that were in the club coming out at 2 am see all these crazy rave kids that are waiting to get into the party when there already done for the evening. anyhow got to see joey beltram play for the first time and he starts off with his big tune at the time "energy flash", and that part kicks in where it whispers xtc, and the whole crowd just starts howling all together in unison. that was ill, kinda freaky too. but it was just the raw energy and vibes flowing thru the place. dope party, juju beats at santas village was the a really good one too.

i know someone is got to bring up the nation party on this thread...

My most memorable massive was probably Organic '96 up at Snow Summit. The whole layout was amazing... from the lazers shootin into the mountains, the crazies in the woods.... Chemical Bros, Orbital, Orb, Meatbeat manifesto, to getting introduced to jungle in the lodge with RAW, Josh Swissman, CRS, etc... Plus a blunt the whole way down the mountain on 2 black pyramids will be etched in my mind for ever!

The Transatlantic Move/Desert Move in Area 51 in 1995.

sickest party ever!

outside of vegas in the desert, had to take a bus there from the Luxor.

under the main stage, about 40 or so bassbins. the highs and the mids were suspended by cranes, surrounding the dance floor in a circle pattern.

steve loria, barry weaver, carl craig, africa bambaataa, ritchie hawtin, basically the biggest dj's of 1995!

this was a corporate sponsored party, paid for by camel cigs (thanx smokers!). organized by the German promoters responsible for the Mayday parties in Europe.

in the morning there was a hot air balloon and about 4000 tripping, rolling, drunken ravers trying to comprehend what we just experienced.

also the next day there was a pool party at the Luxor, i think Marusha and Ritchie Hawtin played.

this party was a huge influence on us promoters from LA that went. the Circa series of parties, as well as the Funky Techno Tribe are good examples of the influence of this event.

The KISS reunion wasnt really my fav, i was just joking.

I think it was NATION 2000
But this party was my first party so i can understand why it meant so much to me.
But it was so damn fresh!!!
I will never forget that night.
Ive tried to find photos or the flyer from this night for the longest time, but no.
NONE

ANYONE OUT THERE??

And yes, that year nocturnal was at the polo fields.
That was a cool party to besides the 4 hour line in my car to get in.

DUNE 1998. MASSIVE WALLS OF TONKA SOUND! TENS OF THOUSAND FUNKY HUMAN BEINGS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT.

No Jungle, but definatley some great techno, house, and acid trance.

Any of the Moontribe parties over the past 13 years. They all rank at the top as the best party I've been too.

I think the best party i've ever went to would have to be Rock the bells, Tribute to ODB show.. I got to be onstage with Wutang for their whole show! I laughed, I cried, I got to chill with Ol' Dirty's Momz, and hear some great stories!!!


and....

the last Audiotistic they had in San Bernadino was off the chizzain!!! I remember i was sober and had such a blast.

Yeah Nation is up there. Happened in 2000. I believe it was Konflict's first time in the U.S and when he dropped Messiah that place went crazy. Or Del doing Mr. Dobalina, and Mixmaster Mike droppin Natural Born Killers. There were too many memories that night.

And sorry Kelly I don't have any pics, I used to have the flyer, but it's long gone.

Nocturnal Wonderland at the empire polo fields. The venue, layout and vibe were on point. I don't even remember the DJs, the only artist I remember was Rabbit in the Moon..."I can see everything".

WAKE UP SHOW event in like 1997 with Wu Tang, KRS ONE, Primo, Del, Chino XL, Xecutioners, Revolution, Beat Junkies, Ras Kass, Alkaholics, Xzibit. I don't think i have yelled so much ever!!!

for DnB there are just tooooooo many from playing wth Dslboy in Portland this year to Craze, Jayvon at Club Ice in Vegas to Meltdown in TX with Aphroditie and Adam F (seriously one of the livest crowds) to different Respects, Bassrushes to even FUTURA like 2002 to even small shows like 120 peeps rammed in Wilkes Barre, PA (where?) for me and Jayvon...one GREAT ASS show...OMG i am forgetting the shows that really helped me personally THE RAPTURE's in SD. Dillinja and Lemon D, Tech Itch and Dylan with SD on fire, Crystal Ballroom with POTD and Jayvon, wait wait Myspace's 1st ever party in Miami where i got to host the main room with Motiv8 and me and Nightstalker drunk as fuk on stage with thousands of islanders in the crowd...that was pretty awesome (damn i am getting nostalgic), Fusion in AZ with Dslboy was pretty epic, opening for A-Trak with Jayvon was fun, fukkin' best warehouse event hands down was MIDNITE BOMBERS by Wreckignition (John B, Simon Bassline Smith)...damn damn damn memories....

^^that is how drunk i was, yeah it was in Hawaii. I remember there being like 5K people outside waiting to get in (no lie, everyone in Hawaii is on myspace), i get to the front with nightstalker and 6 homegirls, they are like "ohhh he is the mc" and i get like 30 other people in for free (the only time ever i felt like "damn i am pulling rank", ha) for letting us cut.

yes MELTDOWN was so much fun...esp. since it made up for my "worst mc fiasco" the nite before... "4..3...2...2...2...2...2 arrrggg"

yeah actually on the "road" that TX experience was one of the most fun i have had with a dj from LA Whiz. Ha, darts for 6 hours, drinking out of mayo jars, crazy dudes who take heroin, dr. wheeler, hurricanes, me getting drugged by Jager by a girl, me throwing up in a new SUV, dj whizard signs in bold outside of venues and me getting no love, antique swords and riot gear, house parties thrown just to hear us play, first class flights, crazy army soldiers telling us about worldly women and keith sweat, crazy 40+ asian women not leaving me alone on stage, mustard salad dressing, my worst/funniest mc performance ever, "ya'll" being said 100,000 times and so much more... hahahahahaha

If you took all the Science sessions, rolled into one...that would have to be my favorite party (although, that might be mainly nostalgia) ...but then there was the very 1stCoachella (the sarah tent!)... whenever that was ...but then there was Roni Size and Representz live at the Roxy? or was it at...? But then there was one of those later parties at La Casa...ragga-f**king-jungle! great time, alot of people -great dancers - (the one depicted in Valida's video concentric beats)... But then there was LTJ bukom at the Hollywood Athletic Club...98?99? but then, there was that small desert party...trance, house etc... 'round Palmdale... in the morning these rougher lookin guys were playing dnb our of their van...I hung out with them...I was damn, glad you guys are here...they smoked me out...in fact that might'a been were i meet ernie...(?) (and my car got stuck in sand)

Basically every massive in between 96-2000 i was just a little kid but those were the best parties.. i wish i could still get that excited feeling when i go out..

But yes Nation was def one of the best..to be quite honest i dont even remember who was playing but i do remember having a f**king blast.. damm i was barely 17 hahahaha

I loved going back and forth.

I wish they still had hip hop rooms at these shows, id still go.

I remember Guerilla Union used to team up with Pasquale and they had a RTB stage at nocturnal, I saw the beatnuts there.. OMG what a great show!!! good times!!

They def. need more dnb+hiphop shows!!

I'm tryin to work on a dnb room for RTB next year, so far it looks good but no for sure plans ...

God, so many...all the Darkmatter parties, especially the one with Current Value, "Legion" hardcore/speedcore party in Victorville in 99, Oracle 2 (99) Manu Le Malin, Mark N., sick ass dancers in the dnb tent, Nation '99 to see Dom N Fucking Roland (never went to Nation 2000, I think I temporarily swore off massives at that point?), the 3 "Something Wicked" parties I helped throw (SPL/TZA, Counterstrike, Hidden & Eye-D), Project A-Ko at La Casa, Opium 2000 with Tron, parties at the Masterdome with gabber in the back outside area, Audio Asylum with Radium, Monsters of Love this year in SF, Evol Intent at Bassrush last January, Dylan at Respect last April, Limewax in SD last year, I could go on and on and on...most fun I had ever at a party was probably "Breakcore Gives Me Wood 13" in Ghent, Belgium in 2005, huuuuge crowd for a breakcore/hardcore party, never seen anything like that before out here in the States for rugged beats, gourmet Thai dinner prepared for us by one of the promoters, awesome crowd, $1 beers (or free beers for performers in my case) and getting passed about 10 different joints that night...then not getting to go home until the party let out at 9:30 AM in the morning! Pure insanity.

remember when that guy tripped over the cables from the mixer while decoder was on and shut down the music for like 5 mins!

Alls i saw next was RobG and Travis "taking care" of him.....leading him out the dance...........BLOODY!

def one of the greatest moments in L.A dnb.

first databass @ fais-do-do w/ die and dynamite was fresh......so was that EDC back in 2000 waaaaaay the f**k up north (damn near fresno!) with d-bridge, fresh, maldini and vegas, dieselboy, kenny ken etc.......(was the first time i heard any of the inside the machine tunes). All the midnite bombers, php, pwly, fry for five, orbitron2....... bassically all the things from that era will go down as golden in my book. (s**t....i still miss ravin' @ the glasshouse!)

1992 Aphrodite's Temple (at the Long Beach Masonic Temple). Every room had a nitrous tank.

Plus the first Paw Paw Ranch, Double Hit Mickey's Holy Water Adventure, and some all-Detroit techno event at the Shrine in 95 or 96 (Stacey Pullen owned).
