funny, i had pretty much an exactly "opposite" experience as takdiego.....for me, security was awesome, very helpful, lenient & understanding.....but as far as the event itself, i was definitely disappointed. i could type several sentences about why i'm disappointed with it but why bother. i guess the way people were boosting it up with all these blogs/bulletins might of got my hopes too high. i will say though that during the 3 hours i was there i heard a total of 5 great vinyls played: 3 by jo-s(jo-s, you got mad skillz brotha), 1 by the black guy right after jo-s who did possibly the sickest little rewind (if you will) that i've ever seen, & 1 by miyuki.

Sorry i couldnt make it. Didnt know i was playing until the day of. By then i had other things to take care of and driving up to LA last mintue from OC was pretty much out of the question for me. But im glad everybody had a great time and the new venue is up and running.

Great to see all the headz come out for the first night...still gotta iron out a few rinkles...gettin the drink prices lowered...top shelf liquor prices were a bit steep and we gotta get the sound sorted out...all in due time....got a likkle filthy fing planned for this Sunday...BOOOOOOM! |
