Was he joking when he said he didn't spin dnb anymore? He gave that quick little speech then preceded to rinse the f**k out of some MASSIVE jump up tunes. Place went bonkers as soon as Hazard's "Mr Happy" dropped.

naw i don't think he was kidding. i have noticed that a lot of DJs (esp. those with a hip hop background) spinning dnb less and less. idk i am sure Craze can make so much more money and have more influence musically doing other genres then dnb, plus with a hip hop background and hip hop/mashup sets (which he does hella well) being the big s**t now around the country i totally understand doing dnb less and less. of course i don't know anything just speculating *shrugs*

^^no because he uses final scratch and his songs are in his computer (thus why he can do a set of all kinds of styles for like 2 hours cause he has like 30K songs in his computer probably) and Rap only unloaded her super old stuff, but has her newer stuff (which she doesn't have to buy)^^


it is just sad cause as much as i love the top top usa dnb djs, craze's style is unmatched and i really think he brings a new audience out when he plays dnb. outside of his scratching, seriously he played all tunes that everyone has (not 1 dub i heard) but he rocks it so hard (which is why he is a great dj, he don't need dubs) and he mixes quick and drops in hip hop acapellas etc.. idk that style will be missed...

Craze wasn't kidding...
he explained that last night could have very well been the last time anyone will hear him play D&B in Los Angeles, or anywhere else for that matter.

BIG THANKS to the DJ CRAZE for bringing some of the sickest vibes our club has seen over the last 8 years...
no matter what he dedicates himself to musically or personally,
as long as it's positive he will have our support!!!

What exactly was that s**t he was playing at the end (yeah, i know he dropped alot of different things) - ghetto tech?
so he drops dnb to play what... that s**t? ok, whatever... seems like that more his preferred style anyway - i mean he really wasn't that into dnb...was he? primarily a hip-hop dj convert to dnb... at least for a little while...
too bad for him...
regardless, the man is a great talent and i'm he will excel in anything he does....Big up the one like craze!

craze is a legend and to have some one like him in the dnb game is and will always remain a blessing.

that dude loves this music, he really does, and in my opinion one of the most exciting dnb dj's to watch ever. Up there with Andy, Marky, and Friction, but you have to understand how hard it is to get the same love back that you put in this music. Its very trying for anyone that lives this thing day in and day out....and he has options, why would he let anything bring him down, so he will continue to do what DJ CRAZE does, destroy any party.

its not fun putting your heart and soul into trying to help push a genre forward and the infrastructure (not the fans) shows you NO love and NO support. gotta love the dnb hater culture lol


anyway he rinsed it none the less. i love old school miami bass. damn and he played the Frank Ski remix of DooDoo brown the ORIGINAL BMORE CLUB ANTHEM. me and my boys used to play that at parties in the ATL. hotness!!

Last night was off the chain CRAZE is one of the most exciting djs I've ever rocked out to, up there with all the greats and in my opinion one of the very best!!!

Big ups to Junglist Platoon for bringing you another hot night at RESPECT!!!

Never say Never many artists or athletes have retired from one passion to pursue another and come back and at the end of the day CRAZE could play a poka set and put the roof on fire and will always have my support!!!

Fucking history right there. I will listen to Craze if he plays on a couple of Fisher Price tables and Barney's tracks; that kid rocks parties.

And I totally agree with him and his decision as to not play DnB. I see that people are more for keeping the money, than rather creating a solid scene to the masses.

USA Drum and Bass kids need to see that you don't have to fly talent in from over the pond; last night was proof.

Craze said it! "Why support a scene that doesn't support you??" damn we (our scene) f**ked up!!! cause he tore shiit up!!! by far one of the better sets i've seen in a long time! Big Big Ups Respect for bringing this to us, it's definately one of those historical sets you can talk about for days to come.
