Such a sick night!! Amazing to see how far dubstep in this city has gone. Last night was truely a benchmark of our progress.

Big up to Sam & Pablo for all the hard work. Big up Tony K, Magi, and Emu for blessing the decks. and to SKREAM!! f**kin hell man, he killed it. So many big tunes.

Pure Filth was lotsa funn!!! all the dj's played well and Kemst was in full effect...my fav. for the nite was when EMU graced the dex and played some of the sickest dubstep tunes i've ever heard.....big up Pure Filth/SMOG for all your hard work and efforts!!

i got robbed of my weed by my lungs, if that counts for anything...

surreal night last night.

met some cool heads, heard/felt the best tunes, tripped out on all the people there, drank too many peronis, ate chicken links and bought some records off of biscuit.

such a awesome way to end 2007, dubwise.

i really wasnt knowing what was instore with skream but hell, that was insane! he threw down some of the craziest beats my ears have ever heard and that bass...oh boy, that bass=pure heaven! got there a little late but i caught a dope set by sam & paul too.

i have to mention that i could have done without the drunken 39 yr old (yea she told me her age) idiot female harassing the ladies in line for the bathroom cos she wanted to cut in front of everyone. who is this woman? first shes trying to be all nice saying she has good karma and we should do that for her. then things got ugly when everyone told her no and to wait her turn. homegirl was a MESS, calling me a selfish c u next tuesday because i wouldnt let her in...nevermind that i heard she threw a drink at someone shortly after but then got thrown out. im glad i stopped drinking early on in the evening cos my blood was seriously boiling and i was ready to kick her in the throat but the last thing i wanted to do was ruin my nite. plus, im a lady...sometimes. haha. oh yea - hera, thanks for having my back, it could have easily gotten REAL ugly but we're classy broads.

anyway, a million thanks to everyone involved...you guys did an amazing job! looking forward to more dirty filth in 08!

oh yeah, my review.

took me a whole days sitting on the couch and watching dexter to recover. amazing time. who the hell were all those people?? skream pulled some heads from the woodworks. professionals killed it, there was a rusko tune in there that had my knees buckling.

skream was bassweight slaughter. remind me to bring my sealegs next time that rigs in place.

also, can somene please lay claim to this sentence, i was a little out of it when i heard it: "I know the theme here is blue balls (the decor lights on the dancefloor), but I'm going to leave completely satisfied."

there was some negative vibes that night, many coming from people that lived at that venue. funny for being art / hippy / burner / whatever people they sure were acting like a bunch of selfish pricks. I had one guy jump right in front of me in the bar line, and I taped him and said "yo - were in line" and he says "I live here dude!" - f**k you man, who cares? - and all that "karma" you better believe in that, because all that negative s**t will come back down on you like the house of cards you've built.

I'm still thinking about how much fun that night was. On for the history books for sure.

Big ups to everyone who came out and made this night a success. And an extra shout out to EMU who stepped up after Skream and ran the place from the very first tune!

bass was heavy, vibes were electric, saw the people I wanted to see, and skream has tunes boy, lemme tell you.

Wasnt too keen on most of the people who lived there, seemed to be about 20 or so people laying claim to that...

After feeling Skream's set, I was wondering how EMU was ever going to live up to the standard set for the night. I think he lived up to the standard and then some. EMU's set was slightly better than Skream's IMO.

yea I honestly was feeling the same. Not biased…. EMU really murdered it MAN very impressed how he toped that s**t (IMO)

You know all night I kept saying I LOVE DUB STEP

Not that I don't like Dnb anymore but dub step has given me that ol feeling again.. I haven't felt that feeling in YEARS! Iwas on cloud nine and never wanted to come down. I mean I stayed to PF till 4 and I don't think I have done that since I use to do drugs and go to raves.. I was screaming and my brain was going NUTS with all the bass and GREAT tunes. THANK YOU Pure Filth thank you soo much.. Thank you for that ol feeling..

I did not have any problems with the people that lived there but that really sucks to hear all the arrogance.. the loft was really cool and (gave that ol feeling again) and the smoking patio was the s**t! I love to look out and see city lights.. The only think that REEEAAALLLY sucked was that fact that there was only one bathroom. I mean really harsh..everyone was doing the pee pee dance in line and it moved soo slow.. I was amazed that the pluming kept u with all the flushing. OH WAIT! now I remember a person that lived there was banging on the bathroom door really hard while I was in there.. over and over again and I kept saying "I'm in here" but still kept knocking and when I opened the door she rushed in and shoulder chucked me.. yea f**k those people that lived there.. and there dope loft

good friends, amazing music and sound, awesome times. my girl and i were going f**king nuts on the dancefloor for skreams set, i think i got pulled out somewhere after he went off and emu went on (its kind of a blur).

thanks to pure filth, and extra special thanks to my karen who was kind enough to be my shaperon for my obnoxious birthday madness. can't wait for the return of the weekly!

PS. when skream dropped the klaxons remix i seriously came close to falling to my knees. mmmm... been waiting for that set for a while.. and he brought it proper.

pablo is my favorite dj in the universe the professionals rule, emu killed it, and skream is obtonable!! i just made that word up cuz nothin in the dictionary can describe that s**t...i wish i can mc at an event like that in the future..kemst amazed me by staying on the stage almost the whole night!!! will i go again? Hell yea!!!
