SMOG LABEL LAUNCH PARTY
I must say I am a little hungover, this morning...but Peroni is still my friend. 
Last night was truly epic. The vibes were thick - so many friendly people and familiar faces were inside this LA underground spot. I got that genuine old school underground dnb vibe all over again; just with dubstep. All the dj's/producers gave stellar performances as Kemst hosted it properly as always. Big up Drew & Co. for all of you hard work and putting this together (i saw this guy HUSTLIN last night).

Yeah Rick, I thought the same thing. And Yeah i'm feelin' hungover too! Nice to see the Vibes alive in L.A in the '08. Couldn't believe the system bumpin' all night and right next to that apt bldg! i was operating under a self-induced and progressively deteriorating state in some stiletto pumps so thanks to everyone who caught me mid skank/teeter.
LA, ur on fire. it just blows me away how this movement keeps growing and gaining speed but never once losing that tightknit quality. I think i need also mention the stellar f**king quality of the cheeba last night.
Drew thanks for making sure everything was up and running on the backend. Carol... ahhh Carol. as Zona said "it seems that I get better service and drinks when I've known the bartender for years". man dem holding down the sound, the crowd was loving everything!

it was really good seeing all the usual suspect out and about.. kind of bummed about the 3am drive home but it's always worth it and all in all it was a dope night.

Just want to send out a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the launch of our label. the event was a success in every way. big thanks to all the dj's in the crew who held it down on the dancefloor. You guys are headline acts on your own. Thanks to Kemst for keeping that place jumping all night. Also big up to the Pure Filthers - Sam, Magi, and Oscar for the extreme bassweight!
BIG SPECIAL THANKS to all the crew who came out to help with the event: Carol, Mark, Forrest, Dave, John, Steady, Karin, Billy, Adonis, and Ivy. Could not be done without you guys.

Off the chain right from the get go.
felt good to finally get my ass up there early and help out with setting up. FINALLY PUT IN SOME SPEAKER WORK!!! (dont worry Sam, i'll get those amps next time, lol)
one love to my Smog familia for yet another smashin evening. every selecta dropped the hotness and i cant wait to see all of you on wax in the coming months.

yea...that party was runnin for sure. Evol and Infiltrata smacked it the f**k out. Too hung over from Respect night before to make it thru Emu and Pawn but i'm sure they killed it too. Standard for them. |
