Great show... definitely nice to see Spectr & Traverse's artwork up! All the artists killed s**t... (I think it was Texel) from Quadrant... homeboy looks exactly like Dieselboy! He looks like his little brother or something..LOL. Either way Quadrant threw it down rough... what more do you have to say about Hive... tune after tune smashing it! Big ups Criminal Element! |

The event was a success and could not have been w/o the support of the entire sd d'n'b scene. Criminal Element wants to thank everybody who made it out, and all of the people involved with promoting the event. Spectr came correct w/ the visuals. The sound in the main room was insane. The artists performing that night were top notch, and the mc's (in particular dino, ridda, and julz) were off the hook as well. Lookin forward to our next canes event which will most likely be this summer, but until then we have

Overall it was a good party but the non-stop MCing (more like constant rapping really) ruined it for me. Especially during Hive's set who is one of my favorite dj's. Me and my girl ended up cutting out at about 1:30am. Don't mean to hate or nothing just my opinion.

Cant completely disagree. This was discussed within the crew. I think Dino was good as well as Ridda. I think it was the amount of mc's up there trading the mic (which was the fault of no one mc. but more our fault) So we do intend on having MC's @ our events in the future, but will be keeping it to just 1 or 2 quality mc's at each event. And depending on whos performing there may be no m.c. @ all for the headliner. Hope to see you guys at the next event. |

bit late but,
Awesome party! Started out slow, but quickly got filled...Canes is a sick spot!! Cant wait for the next one there!!...Hive and Quadrant straight killed it...sick sets from both!!! That RATM track was HUGE! OMG!...Great sound, strong drinks and sick ARTWORK!
but ya the only real complaint of the night would have to be all those MC's at the beginning of the show... Dino, Julz and Ridda saved it for the rest NO JOKE... (not trying to hate but spacificly the bald one, I personally watched 7 people leave Canes b4 the headliners came on just b/c of this guy!...hype them, dont scare them)
