Re: How Sweet It Is
Al from Distorted Minds spun an awesome jumpy set with a grip of new tunes. Teebee spun a housey kind of vibe like usual, had me dancing on the dancefloor with all the etards for the first time in the niight. Adam F stepped up and killed it with classics and some new stuff as well. MCMC was a nice touch. Adam dropped Circles at the end of his set and gave me a chance to sit down and catch my break for a second. Killa Kela up next had to go on the dancefloor to watch this guy. His performance was cool as expected, thought it might be infused with a bit more dnb but oh well. Next up man like SS with all the exclusive s**t as expected. Ripped it up! Then the legendary Bryan Gee took the decks and played VIP after VIP. Smaaashed it! Dropped Dirty Beats into Brown Paper Bag that was refreshing to hear after hearing so many new wobblers all night. MC's were on point for the most of the evening - Dino, MCMC, MC?, and some other guy I didn't recognize (who was that?).
Stage had a dope setup as I'm sure you can see from the pictures. Was expecting it to be indoors as usual, was surprised it was outdoors - regretted not bringing a jacket until I stepped under the tents and realized jackets were not necessary, it was plenty warm under the tent.
All in all one of the best events I've been to in a while and only had two shots of vodka and barely smoked. Kids kept asking me if I was alright cuz I was sober and they were not. That was pretty funny |

Re: How Sweet It Is
this was one of the most organized events i have ever been to. loving the "in the jungle" dnb stage set up and the sound was massive. nice one bassrush crew.
everyone played a good set. a special mention goes to SS, dropping tune after tune after tune in a clean and timely manner. all the mc's were on point and all sounded/worked really well together. |
