RUSKO amongst a wicked catalog has put out two of the biggest anthems this last year with "Cockney Thug" and "Jehova" and Nick's stateside label ARGON has knocked out two equally large toons with UNCLE SAM'S "Round the way Girls" and MATTY G'S "50,000 watts." i came through proper with the drunkstep. as for the third cockney thug wheel up, appologies, it was totally subconscious. i was powerless to it.

the vibe was out of control!
Came in to Breakage droping some serious tunes - loved the little old school bits. Pablo & Sam smacked it!
Rusko burned the house down! That s**t was partytown! Not sure what I was expecting, but Rusko blew away all my expectations!
Nick Argon rounded off the night the a selection of brand new dubs and some classics.
Out to Sam for pullin it all off! I know some plans changed, but you made it happen. Big big night.
Great to see all the heads come out! So many people I had not seen in a while. Hera DID look fine, but then again she always does

OK so... she did look exceptionally tastee last night but the Goddess Hera is always on point.
Last night was everything I had imagined... Good friends, Good booze, good music and after all that good food.
it was the perfect way to spend a Friday night.
Big up Sam and Nexxy for all they do... Pablo,TeeKay,Magi...the whole Filth Crew nothing but love for yall.

gee mama's portable patron bar made this night unforgettable! i enjoyed grinding every last one of you ladies up front! *points finger at patron & gee mama :D
the professionals brought on the SIGNATURE RUMBLE, breakage caused some MAJOR JAMTIME, rusko thew in the PANTY DROP, and argon made the CEILING SWEAT!
a nite so filthy, i had to douse my head in holy water during the ride home. thanks for the hookup drew! haaaa :D

wow....just starting to recover Finally, Friday was a duezy!
It has been an amazing year for Pure Filth and couldn't have happened without alot of people and their hard work. I'd like to take this opportunity to Big 'em up.
First of all I 'd like to Big up my Missus Nexy for believing in us and not getting mad for sooooo many late nights home after promoting & packing up sound, Thanks Luv!
Next up Uncle Magi who has met me EVERY tuesday to load the system in and out, and take the truck back. The Filth crew, Pablo, Tony, Breakage, Kemst, DLX for those drunken speaker load out sessions and the constant inspiration behind the dex/mic. Also our newest member Oscar (who came through like a champ when the system got ganked! You da man...bruv!)
Big up Beeeeeeeelindaaaaah whose usually running around on official airport duty or just doing the damn thing!
Next the mighty Drew who has tirelessly shaped the look of Filth with his excellent graphic skills, and is always there for some great advice...Thanx homey, couldn't have done it without all those late night Bulan sessions!

Last but certainly not least, gotto Big up the peeps who opened up their Minds and Hearts and came through to support Pure Filth each and everytime, you are the true Dubstep soldiers without which we'd just be a group o guys sitting around drinking beers and spinning toons! You provide the energy that inspire's us to scour the globe for those new bangers, dig out some old favorites and generally try and keep you on your toes.
In the short space of a year, Pure Filth has gone on to become an internationally recognised force which became more apparent last month when we were invited to play alongside the genre's top Dogs in Miami at the WMC, which was truly an honor (and a ton of fun!)
So.....here's to another great year. April is already shaping up to be epic with Rusko down, then Caspa, Mrk 1, Chimpo, Loefah, & Dj G. Next month see's the return of DMZ's Mala in the area, Benga in June and we're working on Kode 9 and fingers crossed, Warrior Queen for July!
Whatever happens this year you can guarantee one thing....the Bass will be shakin' and the pint's will be flowing, here's to another great one...Thank's each & everyone for the Luv!

first off, congratulations & bon anniversaire!! it was really great night for a celebration, and celebratin' we done did. i def am not a fan of the venue but made the most of it and still enjoyed all the tunes & energy served up. it was great to be surrounded by friends, good vibes and really really dank herbs. srsly.
to paul & sam - what a difference pure filth has made on my life over the past year! you both know that i was adamantly against dubstep one year ago today but i went to filth supporting my friends because that's what we do. going there week in and week out slowly changed my mind about not only the music but the atmosphere and what dubstep really had to offer me as a music lover. it didn't take much for me to succumb to the beautiful basslines and wagtastic wobble. i'd like to believe that my love for it was always there, it just needed to be dragged out in a sweaty, dungeon-like speakeasy while ceiling crumbs rained upon me for me to become a believer. one part of it that makes me a little sad is that i don't think that can ever be re-created. i feel lucky to have been introduced to dubstep via the higgins-filth formula because everything was so innovative and completely unique. it was the sweatiest summer of my life and i longed for each tuesday to come!
it's been great to see the club keep moving and growing despite venue changes, thefts, haters, and everything else life deals you when in between. you've certainly made a huge impact on my life and i'm sure many others, and for this i thank you. thanks for making me a believer! |

HAHAHAHHAHAH...ain't that the truth! People don't know that the first 10 or so Pure Filth parties were at the Temple of Boom. Just Sam and me and MANY MANY cases of Stella. Thats where the original fire got lit. Those were some GREAT times. Big up my bruva SAM XL...gwan son!!! |
