Yesterday was an epic showcase of how tightly woven this scene is here in LA...
i've known a lot of you for 10+ years in this scene, and yesterday is and was the reason i started doing this s**t...
every dj i saw put down, and im 100% sure that the djs i didnt see put down too...
Massive Shouts to APX1 and crew for putting this on and showcasing why LA is so special to those of us that call this place home.....

After all of this hard work and total of 6-7 hours of sleep since Friday all I have to say is that it was all worth it. I saw a dream come true right before my very eyes. Cannot thank The Pure Filth Sound Crew / Big Sam enough for all of the long long hours they put in to provide some of the best bass around and to Mr Ghandi for always setting up the perfect amount of sound for us outside. The number of artists that performed all day was amazing. Never thought we were going to pull it off. Cannot express enough gratitude for the amount of respect that everybody has given me since starting this crazy idea. Yesterday was proof that some of us old Ravers still got it in em. 12 hours long and 12 hours strong. Big Ups and Massive Respect goes out to my partners throughout all of this Tonz of Drumz and Steel Lions Crew.
Oh and a very special Thank You goes out to that one of a kind girl that spends so much time slaving over a hot oven for all of you to enjoy and shove cookies in your face. Lauren truly is the Heart and Soul of this whole Party!
Get Ready Southern California because I have a feeling that..... were baaaaaaack!!

i love la is one of my favorite parties hands down. big thank you and big ups to apx1 crs and the whole ghetto life/steel lions/tonz of drumz crews for putting in so much hard work into these parties. these guys do it cause they love it and to bring everyone together as a community. the place was packed and the pure filth sound was banging all night.
huge thanks to the beautiful lauren for spending hours and hours of cookie baking. she does it because she loves to see everyone having a good time. thanks babe

Had a blast yesterday....ALL AREAS PACKED ALL DAY! Good job AP and CRS? on opening the back up...I know it was a gamble but it payed off, I've been missing that area!
Just about to head back over there and grab gear, my "trusty" sidekick Oscar disappeared around 1am nowhere to be found (fell into a cookie coma and passed out in the trailer! Homey woke up about 4.30 in the middle of the hood (I had the truck keys!)...he showed up by taxi at mine at about 5.30!!!! Viva I Love L.A & Viva le Cookies! |

Bottom line.
This city and this music has molded me into what i am today. Wouldnt trade it for anything in the world.
