Don't know if there's a separate entrance, the $10 cover indicated was false advertisement, or the Shark Club owners just decided to f**k things up at the last minute, but the door said $20 for all general entry. Atlantic Connection is a bad mofray on the decks, no doubt, but $20 for a little side room action in an "upscale" nightclub that doesn't even have air conditioning when it's like f**king 80 degrees while additionally punishing its clientele with a hot ass "dress to impress" dress code... uhh, no.

Sorry if there was any confusion or misunderstanding, but all one had to do was mention VIBE for a $10 entry after 10pm, which is the standard cutoff time for any event!

Overall a wonderful night, and I hope that all who made it out to support the WESTBAY crew had a great time!

Such a sick venue! I love how the nondnbr's mix with the dnb crowd. That's bound to create some converts. Mike and Morgan are kicking some ass and I suggest if you haven't been down to Vibe, then you need to. Period. Great show last night guys

Sorry gypsy, but i think you were the only one who had to pay that much. If you would have stood your ground when they said $20, and mentioned you were there for VIBE, you would have only paid $10. I apologize for the trouble, but when you don't follow directions, it's on you. Shoot me a message if you want to go next time and i will walk you in myself.

Big UP the positive VIBES the Soundlaab crew is bringin!!!

Last night was absolutely sick. Great performances all around especially form Audio Angel!!!!

The b-boys and girls were breaking it down during Atlantic Connection, love seeing that...

Drum and Bass has a soul, and last night it was in the Shark Club for VIBE!!!

Can't wait til the next one...

Really cool spot...
we got there just before midnite and mentioned Vibe and I still got in for $10.
A.Connection played some jammy jams just after JoS,Devoe, and Audio Angel funked it up.

Wow yeah we got there right after 10 an said VIBE! an they said 10 dolla! Man, it was sick to finally see southpaw spin live, I've listened to his show on dnbradio.com from before through the vinez. so it was much anticipated for i. Dj&theDiva was a very fun live set, didnt know what to expect but i really liked it, more sould and flow less grime, was nice. dont get me wrong i love grime. And A.C. closed the shop homie, straight poppin a lockin off those electro beats like nothing. Even gettin Kemst and Julz on the floor between flows. haha good times last night, and yes that venue is sick as hell, when i saw 20 at the door i was like WTF then i saw how the rest of the venue is an it was huge inside, I almost wanted to swim in that shark tank hehehe and the smoking patio is dank too, good times all around, thank you SOUNDLAAB. ya'll hookt it up last night.

Thanks to all those who came out last night. I had a f**kin blast.

The Air Conditioner was on but AC and the westbay crew brought some serious heat into that room. So if you can't take the heat get your GYPSY ASS out of my kitchen.

Rashida, Joey, and Devoe totally blew my mind too. Such a live sound. I wish we could have recorded it.

Keep your ears to the street, cause when AC drops Tomorrows Not Enough on May 26th, the scene across the globe is gonna go NUTS!!!

Sounds like I missed a good show by AC. Still had the bad taste in my mouth from the Inland Empire party a couple weeks ago in which the flyer said "free all night long" but was told at the door by the girl that the promoter decided to change it at the last minute and charge $10 a head. Oh well, I'm sure I'll catch a good show at Vibe in the future.

the door did seem a bit crazy when we got there, but no real problems. i had some friends that came well after 12 and mentioned vibe and still paid only a $10 cover. and loved the show at that.

the dj and diva (joey, shida, and jeff) was awesome. some sound issues in the beginning, but then again, this isn't a usual dj mc combo, so it takes a bit more tweaking to get it right. once the sound settled in it was smooooooooooooth sailing. really dug the performance.

and AC, man....wow....i go through my phases with this music like most, and what will always keep me coming back are producers/deejays like this. great solid tunes, lots of soul, and well....i wasn't sweating as much because of the heat, but because i was dancing.

really good times all around. even if one of the bar tenders cannot understand that coke + sprite does not equate to ginger ale. bastards

oh and that venue's posh too. even in spite of all of the bro's and hoes in attendance for whatever goes on there normally. i definitely hope you guys continue this.

I had a great time!!! All positive things to say about this place. The VIBE room was dope, had a nice stage - nice sound, proper booths, its own bar, good sized dance floor, and a dope lineup....

Just like everyone else, got to the door - mentioned VIBE, and got in for $10, so - all you had to do was mention VIBE - like it said in the post.

Also, I didn't notice that it was hot, but maybe I was just drunk - cuz the temp felt fine to me...

Definitely lookin' forward to hittin' up this venue many times in the future....

Good night and great vibes indeed. All of the talent was on point and bringing some fresh beats. AC with the electro at the end was whats up... go Nate! Didnt catch the opening cats, but will have to check the radio show out. Jo, Shida and Jeff... damn great set every single one of you! Hopefully San diego will get to see you all soon =) Great night vibe... we will definately be in attendance for future events.

great sets by all. dj and the diva with devoe on sax was excellent as always. ac was droping some amazing tunes with lots of funk and soul, definately one of my favorite producers at the moment. big ups the vibe crew, cant wait till next month

You guys are bringin somethin unique to the stage and it's both entertaining to watch and good music!! Seein Devoe live on the sax with Rashida singin was beautiful ! And Joey's not only a good dj but he also has great stage presents!!! oH and yes he got down wth us after too! haha boh

Gotta give a shout to my girls of course.... Julz and Pandora ! So glad I made it out even if last minute to get down with you lovely ladies. Great performance .. was dope hearing Julz play her songs and the dance routines were SIIIICKK!

....and ha! ya call that hot? man ya should have been at the battle aka sauna i was at earlier. Nah but seriously I didn't think it was that hot at all ... but maybe I'm just used to the heat cuz I'm always dancin!

admittedly the smoking patio was SUPER HOT that night (it's not normally on full blast..lol)
Not a problem as we get closer to summer!
Defo looks good though!

I mentioned Vibe on my way in and it was like the red seas were parted for me on the ten dollar tip.

It was a grrreat show, Julz and Pandora killed it, and Preying Mantas got on the stage too for a minuteskees.

Sonja Sweetasevil and Pandy even did a little impromptu slow motion routine that was pretty ill...

and there were some bboys in the house doing windmills for days, and that one freestyle cat that was all hippied out was dope too.

Kemst rocked it as always, I was feeling the dj that was singing during his set-that was pretty groovetacular. I don't really know who's who I just go for the dancing. lol

That was my boy Jo-S. He let me know that he will b laying down vocals on tunes with Redeyes, Lenzman, and Lynx.

Keep your ears peeled cause you'll b hearing big things from him soon!!!

ok, I'm WAY late on this but wanted to make sure and say how much fun I had on that night!
We got there RIGHT as Jo-s, Audio Angel, and Devoe took the stage and OOOOWEEEEE! You three def have something INCREDIBLE going on there....for real, a REAL SHOW! ::bows down to the awesomeness:: :-)

BIG the F' up Atlantic Connection! You played my new fav. tune on your album...Around the world! HOT! (Thanks Nate ;-) ) The b girls were BANGIN' and REALLY had me excited to see what was next! It killed me to have to leave at 2am when my feet hurt SO bad from dancing I just couldn't stand up anymore. :-)

Thank you SOUNDLAB for brining these SICK ass peeps to a venue that's semi close to me! Makes going out a little bit more affordable......cause DAMN @ $4.00 bucks a gallon for gas...we've had to sit out A LOT more than we've wanted to these days.
