ohh and ummm not to look ahead but the 24th may be the sickest RESPECT yet....FUGGIN DIZZEE RASQUAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only he and Dynamite (in the words of dyna) can "rock any room on the mic in the rave" (grime, dubstep, dnb, breaks, hip hop). i will be camping out!!!

that was my first time at the echoplex..the main communal areas were pretty packed. Definately can tell I haven't been out in a VERY long time cuz there were sooo many people I didn't recognize. the drum and bass scene is a way different thing than it was 5 years ago. Glad you got lots of bodies in there...pushing the sound into the next generation of youngsters.
Sound system is tight.. dance space is good. Hopefully they open up the other bar though (that was the only drawback).
We got there around midnight and caught the tail end of Scooba's set which was tight. loved loved loved the breaks being mixed in (being a FL girl at the roots)... very sick to hear my two favorites mixed together. Diggin the song at the end too..don't know who it was "bad girl, bad boy"something or other.
Asides tore it up. He really is versatile..was expecting liquidy soulful...but he played alot of heavy s**t.. but did mix in alot of liquidy yumminess.
High energy.. good time. Respect always delivers.. |

Great nite....good to hear scooba spin - dope set! There was alot of energy out there on the dance floor
A sides brought heat and people were loving it - the energy in there was like a rave - New faces - lots of them -
gorgeous women - holy s**t
That was dope - big up respect!
yeah, the bar situation can be easily solved - they should open the Back bar and close the smaller front bar -
it just bottles everything up right there...
besides, we're junglist - we frinking drink like fish... You need a big bar to satisfy our thirst...

I really enjoyed myself lastnight. Scooba and A-Sides both did a great job. Place was jumpin and the sound was crispy.
The 24th is gonna be rammed. Thats so siick Dizee is commin 2 play Respect. Thats major! |
