Just woke up from the morning after and body is still aching.

Somehow, didn't have much energy as the usual time or else I would danced my ass off more. But, @ least majority of the time was close enough.

Heard some real good tuneage...Most definitely...Can;'t wait for the next one...

that was the best party, it felt so good to dance, No one dissapointed me, Klute is good! Yes, he's GOOD!! Ya, it was like a reunion last night, so many heads I haven't seen in forever came out. i really dont want anyone to take it personal to what im about to say...

ok maybe i shouldnt people watch and try to analyze everything around me but this is it...

when i first walked in i noticed how dacorated the venue was... 2 projector screens with the dj inbetween... not that packed its all good its early... keaton came on and it seemed like he only played for 40 mins, which is good cause i was not feelin his set one bit...this girl walked in (i know xyz knows her and im sure she posts on here and she seems to be pretty "pop"ular)with a hat that said "f**k everybody" and she was all smiling and huging xyz and not then she looked at me and i looked at her and maybe im overanalyzing but i looked at her hat and then looked at her and then she stopped smiling...hmm people watching... then the man of the hour, dj suv came on and wow his full cycle vocal broken beat dnb was really groovy & got all the party rollin and i think the girls where liking it too! then he started to play alittle too much of that s**t and no one started to dance and the mc had to say "LA you like that s**t hard uh?" so he put on a good 3min intro to get into a hard set, the hard stuff he played wasnt even hard it was just a different tone (you know full cycle stuff)... then the crowd started rockin out... dancin havin a fair enough time and dj zinc came on with the hardest track for an intro ive heard in awhile! but every record after that sounded the same... this girl was dancing infront of me and i dont know what her deal was maybe she was lookin for a sleaze to dance up againest her or what.. but she was infront of me and started dancin closer and i was kinda moving my body and she danced over to me like as if i didnt dance she would dance on by me... well came from my left and there was this guy that was close to me on my left and it would be pretty damn tuff to squeeze in between us... so she comes over dancing to me like as if i was gunna dance with her and she got alittle to close for comfort so i stopped and she still trying to dance... hahah so she stoped and forced herself between me and some random guy... hahahah i was like wow what a sleaze... on to klute... klute was the f**kin man! he played some hard ass progressive dnb that was very dark and scary and just like mcdonalds i was lovin it!

i loved bassrush and i think it has a positive impact on dnb and really gets the scene back onpoint but i dont think i could go again, its way to "POP" for me... i mean all these girls where starving for attention lookin like theyre j-lo... i dunno man... i was dissappointed in the whole MC vibe and how the venue wasnt even dacorated... i have an idea though! get the drums art next time! i think when i turn 21 the bar scene is where ill be, i know ive been saying i want more arena/rave type parties but if your not gunna get the place lookin lively then... ya...

im sorry if anyone is affended by this but you all know i could care less but im just tryin to help some people out... prepare for the worest and hope for the best! good job united dnb and insominac for really doin it!

I had a good f**kin' time last night!! Danced the whole night. Thankful that drum and bass was loud and all around me, and that the large majority of people there last night were loving it!

That sucks that you won't go to another Bassrush cause some girl was trying to dance with you(plus other trivial things). Come out and support for the music, not for the people.

Good to see everyone again. Natural MC was dope i wouldn't have minded hearing him the whole night . SUV brought some different s**t i was glad he did what he did, LA really does need to hear the entire spectrum of dnb, there is more to it than rinsing it out propa propa propa . SUV is a true rockstar, he has great stage presence, he is extremely humble and a very sincere person i was honored to meet him.
Man what kind of drugs are kids taking these days? i swear there were some meth heads in the house cause mofos was actin like they had no damn sense. i was dissapointed to hear one of the mcs say they wanted to "see some moshing in the place" not very smart at all, especially when your trying to get more ladies into this dnb thing rather than a bunch of testosterone filled dudes(please remember there are ladies in the place). big thanks to mcmc and danny for stopping the madness. the sound was crisp and bangin as usual. the bar was a great touch! Keaton laid down a heavy dancefloor set. he was dropping some joints!

absolutely agreed!

loved SUV's set and once again jayvon have to agree with you: i was very glad to hear him bring a totally different sound to the tables. spoke to him about it as well- he's very big on showcasing a variety of sounds that aren't usually played out and makes a point of touching those overlooked parts of the wide dnb spectrum. (he's real big on Indian-influenced dnb so watch out for stuff from him + Surge!)

another fun bassrush night as always! and can't forget: shouts to the drunken junglette vultures prowling - you go girls!

almost forgot!! MCMC and MC ? were highlights for me as well.. very few can have more fun onstage and hype up the crowd the way MCMC does- instant smile from me every time!

Awesome party. I had a great time.

Some of the plus+s

SUV playing a great set. Brought a different vibe than the rest of the dj's, and a little diversity to the BassRush stage. Nice! Got to meet SUV at the end of the show, and he was the nicest, down to earth, relaxed cat out there. Great attitude, and positivity bubbling out of him, no ego whatsoever.

Zinc- played a good set, highlight was when he teased "The Nine" with "Brown Paper Bag" ~ I would never thought that would have worked, but it sounded fantastic!

The bar- good to see that people could come and enjoy the show and have a couple of drinks while doing it!

Less Mosh pits- and a big up to MCMC for getting on the mic and squashing the mosh pit.

Rollin' there and spending the day with some great friends- thanks Johnny V and Corey.

Some of the minus-s

The MC fest that was going on stage. I was able to tolerate and enjoy the MC's at the last Bassrush- but this time the MC'n was a little over the top, and took away some of the vibe for me~ for the most part the MC's were good individually, but at some points there were around 5 MC's sharing the stage. Too many chef's spoil the broth~ or how does it go?

The encouragement of mosh pits- I know it may be Dino's thing, but I don't really like encouraging people to mosh at dnb events. We are finally getting a sizable amount of ladies to come out for drum and bass only events~ let's not push them away. This scene could not survive without them! I'm sure some of them don't mind the pits, but for the most part I can tell they weren't really feeling it, especially getting knocked into by flying elbows.

Funny moment*s

MC? thinking he was MC'ing for DJ Hype for about a half hour or so during Zinc's set, LOL! "Who's feelin' the sounds of the DJ HYPE!" etc. etc. etc. Every time he mentioned DJ HYPE I wondered if anyone else on stage or in the crowd noticed, but I had a good laugh or two from it.

DINO and partner dressing up like the girls from T.A.T.U. (not really, just rockin' the same style) - that was cool. Dino sounded good~ thanks for the CD (Rinse and Dino - Ruff and Rugged) ~ I like it a lot. My DJ, My DJ, My DJ, My DJ, MY DJaaaay!

f**kin' awesome. my ears are still ringing. everyone was great. zinc was good but i think i had really really high expectations. i wish he used that 3rd turntable tho!!! at times there were too many mcs at once. oh well. i really liked suv's set. it wasn't his "usual" but was harder meant for a larger crowd (perhaps?) and still had that sexy vibe.

so cool to see people whom i haven't seen forever. brianne, sauce, drew and carol (who i saw earlier at trader joes), janey, candyce, 420, lajunglette, forrest, bean etc etc etc....

i took some decent photos (not as creative as i would have liked). i really miss it! throughout the night, i felt like i annoyed every dj. =/ i'll put some up in a few days cuz i'm still editing them. thanks for everything danny!!! thank you united drum & bass!

ps. gotta fix that gap between the barrier and the speaker for backstage access. =P

Yeah, Zinc was good, but didn't live up to my expectations. I noticed he was having some trouble with one of the turntables (same with SUV), which kept skipping- so he switched it out with the third turntable- that is probably some of the reason you didn't see him on 3 tables.

It's hard to rock it with technical difficulties, so I'm not holding it against him, I definitely want to see him down again soon.

you are all right the mosh pit was a little too much, I do think there is a time and place for a pit, but maybe not a all the D-n-B events....I just get going when i hear that rugged s**t and wanna express it with the same feeling....hehehehehe but ya no more of that s**t for a awile.....sorry if any women were hurt in the making of chaos......

Also I had an amazing time at the party, all the music was dope the DJ's were very nice and my boi Armani toooore s**t up...always a pleasure to work with him.
I also wanna thank Danny and Pasqual for an amaizing evening, can't wait for EDC...I f**kin love L.A. and everything about it......

by the way if anyone wanted to know , the MC with me is MC Curious with Urban Aboriginee from Denver, CO ( a special one time appearence)........thank you all for comming out to the show

i really had a lot of fun saturday night. mainly during SUV's set! it was so nice to hear such a different sound at Bassrush.

negatives: calling for a moshpit YIKES!!, MC overload for a lil bit. it wasn't as packed as usual, but it sure was nice having room to dance and see without being crushed.

props to all the "j.lo lookin ladies", its great to see so many girlies up in the spot. the bar was tops. i liked the Drumz spaceship thing outside, haven't seen that before.

nice seein all the homies dancin and smilin and also much love to our little late night crew =)

BASSRUSH!!!!! I had so much fun!!! I was happy to see a bar there to pick up my energy when I needed it.

SUV and Zinc...WOW!!!!!!! They were f**king tight...I loved every moment of SUV, I couldn't stop dancing I was grooving the whole time during his set....it was a great work out to dance non stop...

It wonderful to see faces I haven't seen in months...Lexie!!!! It was nice to see you again, I'm back in the loop, I'm sure we'll see each other again and actually hang out!!!

WOW!! is all I can think of as far as puttin words together to describe Saturday Night. From begining to end it was mad fun!!!

Machete started it off and had us going. It was good to hear some new stuff. Keaton came on and killed it. Although it seemed like he was having technical difficulties he still brang it. I think his set should of been a bit longer but it was a good set for as long as it lasted.

SUV and Zinc were tight!!! Heard some good tunes and danced a bit. Didnt see all of Klutes set but what I did hear I sure was feelin!!

Night was perfect. Vibe was good. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Thanks once again Bassrush Crew!!!

if i have learned one thing from my experience here on junglescene, it is this: KEEP IT SHORT AND SWEET AND TO THE POINT!
it's far more meaningful
too many words means not too much of a point to make.

Keaton brought it hard and heavy!

I wasnt really feeling much of SUV, but it still was pretty good..

Zinc made me sweat through my sweater, hat, shirt, shorts and socks. that man brought me to another level. the grey goose and vodka definatly helped, but his set was 110% f**king bliss. I cant thank Insomniac and United DnB enuff for finally bringing out the DANGER!! he f**kin crushed it, and that was by far my most favorite set at any bassrush ever.
