tonz of drumz review
well well well, how do i put this. i was a bit let down by the tonz of drumz 10yr. i was in the mood for some hard drum n bass, but most of what i heard was 97 breaks and jungle. i just wasnt feeling it, neither was the lady. i left before r.a.w. threw down. any one know how that went? i seriously got sleepy. i was really looking forward to tonz of drumz. to me it was a let down
any other thoughts?........ |

but at least his design skills are weak.
damn i should have gone... i would have loved to hear some oldies but goodies.
but i did do some reading (Cadillac Desert) and some reloading.

From my perspective.
I felt as if I was taken back about seven years.
i love the tod style but just as any style I can only take so much in one night blasting in me ears.
VIBE WAS GREAT THE girls were hot as s**t.
i have never seen anyone use eq's and the faders as Krinjah did.
he is talented to say the least, nice one flying him out here.
Does anyone know if he works with Trigga?
I farted
APX-1 threw a nice set down and played some fresh tunes.
Everyone except RAW train wrecked a little bit because the monitors kept overheating but s**t CRS can beat match pretty damn good with out a monitor.
and no highs at all.
I think the party was all about TOD and they repped well.

Aside from it being hot as fukk in the main room and speakers cutting out occasionally...I thought the night totally went off!!
Great music...soo many hotties...and RAW getting muffukkas mental.
Tonz of Drumz has been a staple in the scene since day one and I am happy for CRS?...him and his crew deserved a phat anniversary show.
BIG UP the next gen of junglists...and lookout for the JP 10-year this summer!!!! |

man, I sooo wanted to go to this party. I heard it was going to be lots of old tracks (which I would have expected it being an anniversary party). I was so beat from going out Thursday and Friday I just couldn't get my ass up to go out on Saturday. Damned aging! I'm out of shape for parties, you guys! I heard nothing but positive things from that night. I was under the weather as well and couldn't make it. Then again the people that told me are old school from back in the day, so that might make a difference than so new comers. But please, hook a sister up with one of the HOT FRAGGLES!!!!! |

Um yeah - Tonz Of Drumz suckaas!!!!!
YA JUS DUN KNOW!!!!
RAGGA Mash up like none otha!!!! I was in the front row for about 2 hours straight screaming like a groupie and dancing my big ol' booty off!!!! Sully and I got in right as CRS? went on and yes, he is the man - and he threw down, no doubt.
Krinjah came on next and omg *swoon* I want to marry Krinjah. (I wonder if he heard me screamin his name and hollering at him like a construction worker  ) hahaha but yeah, he busted out the dancehall stylee, ripped the ragga and just basically handled it. Had to jet right as RAW got on, but the crowd rocked, the vibe was on point, the sound ruled, seein mah homies ruled, dancing and being in the presence of that fine ass RUDEBWOY KRINJAH ruled, and I am pretty sure it was one of my favorite nights for a WHILE!!!!
Much much much love and ultimate RESPECT out to CRS?, APX, JACKAL, RAW and all heads involved with Tonz Of Drumz for holding it down for Los Angeles 10 years strong!!!! L.A. would not be the same without you!!!

Actually, I had a f**king great time there. The venue was dope, the outdoor patio was dope, they played dope tunes, and I had mad fun dancing even though it was kind of hot. All in all a dope night for me! |
